I am glad that you went out to eat. Steak salad sounds good.
I have been sick for almost a week now. On Mother's day my daughter mad some chocolate covered strawberries. They were delicious. My husband insisted but I could not bring myself to going out with sneezing, coughing and wheezing, why spoil every one else's special day in a restaurant.

Glad to hear you enjoyed your mother's day.. and just want to wish you a very Happy (belated) Mother's Day too!.. We went to my daughter's house for brunch and family get-together. It was a little colder and windier outside than we would have preferred, so we kept festivities inside, but we had a great day anyways! We've got another birthday coming NEXT weekend, so the schedule and all related preparations have really got me hoppin' this month!.. Oh, and Happy Anniversary, by the way!! I'm glad that you had a nice Mother's Day. DH and I had breakfast after church, hung out at home and enjoyed the weather, had friends over for dinner.

Wow--you had a wonderful weekend, didn't you? Happy Anniversary--and Happy Mother's Day... Bet both meals were GREAT. We didn't do much yesterday --but I talked to all three sons on the phone. That was my JOY... Got some flowers from my stepson and family. Hubby made us a delicious omelet for brunch. Today, I visited with one of my sons and his wife. Another JOY.
