AND THE WINNER IS:

NO, not my grandson.
He is in jail!  Not really, he volunteered at Mostly Mutts - an adoption agency for pups and that was his little charge.  Just showing you how cute he is.  lol  (Am I talking about the dog or the boy?)

Okay now the give away.

My last post was a giveaway and a catch up.   Marianne B. Ball gifted my blog with an e-book.

What was the book about?

On Dec. 13th, 1993, we were anonymously gifted with a Bijou pear and a handmade note welcoming us to “the 12 Days of Christmas.” For the next eleven days, small gifts arrived on our doorstep from the same anonymous giver. Our family loved the mystery, the surprise, everything about this creative gift. When it ended on Christmas Eve, I decided I wanted to gift someone, in the same way, the following year because we had so loved the experience. It’s an adventure we have been perpetuating ever since. Giving gifts anonymously is not a new idea; however, our family spun the tradition by giving gifts (many homemade) that actually played on the lyrics of the carol, “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” Doves, dancing ladies, leaping lords, drummers. This is when our adventure really began....

(I read it and loved it.  I'm starting to plan my Christmas Season with new traditions as I write.)

So here is where you can get your ebook:

E-book Distributor:  MARIANNE BAKER BALL AT SMASHWORDS (Kindle format, pdf, epub, rtf, lrt, pdb, txt, and online reader formats)
BARNES AND NOBLE for Nook
Share with us your social media sites, so readers can find you.

Okay the first step was to write everyone's name down who wanted to be in the contest.

Cut them out.

Fold them up.

Put the folded up ones in a container.

Have someone pick and hold who is taller than me - I know I told you I would have my grandson do it - but he did not want to - so you know how that goes so my hubs did it for him.

AND NOW THE WINNER IS:

CRANBERRY MORNING - and let me tell you she is a lucky gal!
I will write her and Marianne we'll figure out how to get the book to her.

THE LAUGH:

Now this is going to blow your mind.

Do you remember the movie BACK TO THE FUTURE?

Do you know what this means?
We watched it in 1985 and the future was
Oct. 21, 2015!
What is today?  Oct. 23, 2015!
We actually made it to the future!

My grandson would love one of these for Christmas - he is not going to get one - but they do sell them.

These are also for sale.
I GUESS WE MADE IT.

And as you know time stops for no one....

I do wish him well - I think he is a nice guy.

THE LIFT:

No matter how old we are - just look for it.

Congratulations to Judy! Well of course you were talking about your grandson but the puppy is awfully cute too :) Actually Micheal J. Fox had a pair of shoes on the other night on Jimmy Kimmel that looked a lot like those and they laced themselves up by pushing a button. Have a nice weekend.

So fun to see you back here, and congratulations to Cranberry Morning!! I can't believe how grown-up Andy looks now. Has it really been that long since I saw him in person? He was just a little guy! Now he is a handsome young man.

Your grandson is a cutie and growing up so fast. It's amazing how we came to the future so quickly. Days do fly by and there is just another example for sure.

Congrats to Judy. She is a lovely person and I am glad she won.

Yes- we made it to "the future"...lol So funny how so many of those things predicted came true, isn't it? And so sad that Michael J. Fox suffers with Parkinson's Disease...the same thing that took my father.

Hope you have a great weekend, Sandie. xo Diana

He is cute and it is a good thing that he is volunteering from such an early age.
Michael J. Fox is really talented. I hope he gets some more roles. Parkinson's disease should not have to hold him back.

HI!! Always so glad to see a new post by you!

Goodness, GS is getting so grown up! And yes, he is very cute - and the puppy, too.

The "Back to the Future" series of movies is one of my sons' favorites. So, we were anxiously anticipating the arrival of 10/21/15. USA Today had a "fake" cover replicating the headlines from the second movie - our copies are already ordered!

I remember when I was a whole lot younger, figuring out how old I'd be when the new millennium came - 46. It's hard to believe that it's already 15 years after that!! My, how time flies.

Hope all is well, friend!

Michael J. Fox certainly is a gutsy guy. I enjoy him in "The Good Wife".

Judy at Cranberry Morning is the perfect winner for your give away. I too have been enjoying Michael Fox's part on The Good Wife. My girls used to have the biggest crush on him when they were teenagers.

I'm a little late to the party, but I loved that movie. Funny how faraway 2015 seemed then!
