Look at those pretty flowers. :) I had a Keurig...five of them to be exact. They promptly broke once a year, usually a day or two after the warranty ran out, lol. Not kidding. I love the Keurig machines though, they're super convenient. :)

Just checking in on you, Sandie. I hope you are having a good spring, or near spring. We've had some wonderfully warm days but it's getting colder again. It was fun while it lasted and such a delight! We're off to visit the daughter and son in law in Texas all next week. I can't wait!

May God bless you this day!

Night Travelers

The further I walk
the higher I go
The longer the climb
it seems the less I know

I cannot be that which I am not
I cannot hold in my hand what I've not got

Through darkness
Through rain
under a thousand night skies
That which is hidden
compels me to climb

I strain at the summit
I chafe at the bit
but the higher I climb
my path dimly lit

The further I walk
the higher I go
The longer the climb
it seems the less I know

Through darkness I press
unable to see
around the bend
what's in front of me

Light up this pathway
please be my guide
I've no where to run to
and no where to hide.

The higher I go
the thinner the air
the harder my struggle
to make it somewhere

If I sit down will you find me?
If I tarry will you see
all the fear and toilsome burden
that I carry inside of me?

I labor through the darkness
with stumps I make my way
I am a night time traveler
with no place to stay

The further I walk
the higher I go
The longer the climb
it seems the less I know

Through darkness
Through rain
under a thousand night skies
That which is hidden
compels me to climb

Hi Sandie, thanks for stopping in at Cranberry Morning. I won't know how I'm doing until my two month follow up appointment on August 1. X-rays will reveal whether or not bone had grown in around the prosthesis. Right now i do nothing but wait. I use crutches to walk anywhere, and can't put a speck of weight on that right leg and must sit at a 45 degree angle, so I'm mostly in bed reading, listening to nt wright on YouTube, making travel plans for my husband and son, and waiting for two months to pass. If all goes well, i should be into recovery of walking by the time snow flies. But i do have a lovely spot in our library which opens onto our screen porch, nice views, and a kitty to keep me company. I hope you are well. It was such a delight to get your sweet comment. xo

Thank you for stopping in at Cranberry Morning, Sandie. It's always so sweet of you to think of me. I do appreciate it. I'm not sitting much these days, so not long on the computer. Instagram is easier because I can post photos while lying down. :-) Hope you are well and having a good summer. I love the quotation at the top of your blog. xoxo

Hi, Sandie, after a long absence, I returned to blogging a couple months ago, and I just now saw your face on a comment at Writing Straight from the Heart (my first visit to that site). I thought, "Oh, wow, I have to pop by and visit Sandie." But it appears you are no longer writing. I understand...I have taken my own breaks through the years.

I do hope all is well with you.

Blessings,
Patti Gardner
