My other grandson . . .

I am a blessed grandma of two boys. One is 7 one is almost 17.
One lives with me one lives far away.
They just LOVE each other so much.

He was a Pokemon for Halloween.

I had a blessing - my son and his family came down for Christmas.

He was so sweet - this was his gift from Santa.  (With grandpa.)

This is my son - and grandsons - WE HAD NERF WARS!

Me - not sure where the bullets are coming from.

I think the older ones had more fun then the younger one! My younger one didn't like to be hit with bullets.

I loved this - they had so much fun.  That is grandson's happy face!!

My son.  42 years old.

This war was serious!

Older grandson hiding.

I made cupcakes and the grands put on the icing.  Of course they got to eat one.

Even DISCO cooperated - it was a MIRACLE.
Disco usually barks and wants to bite whenever people are over!

Playing racing games.

They took a hike.

I didn't go - two miles in and two miles back out.

Had a picnic - my DIL on the right.

The end!

I hope these are too many photos for you, but it was a good Christmas and I just wanted to share it.

Put a younger child in the mix and wonderful, fun things will happen. It is such a blessing when the whole family can get together and celebrate the holidays and precious memories are made.

What a wonderful time. I smiled when you said Disco cooperated, I know you have mentioned the protectiveness of family especially GS #1.
YOu have a beautiful family.

I was looking at Grandson #1 and cannot remember how far back I remember him but I know it was grade school! Wow 17, that is scary, I was married when I was his age (And looked just as young, just a boy!)
Thanks for the family insight Chatty, great layout and entry.
Love it!

Family gets completed when all of them gather together in one place and enjoy. It was nice to see your son's family joining you for Christmas. sounds that you all must have had a wonderful day. This day would be a sweet memories when you look back your life...

So glad you were able to have both grandsons for Christmas. Age doesn't seem to matter much at all when it comes to games. I know one of my older grandsons had a great time with the snowball fights when we got together. Boys will be boys and even the adult ones love joining in the fun too! My oldest son once said he loved coming home so he could be a kid again for a little while.

Oh, I love that you shared your Christmas joy with us! What a great time and that's just the kind of fun our son and the grandsons enjoy. Big kids, little kids, just having fun. High five to Disco for good behavior. It's so hard to believe your older grandson is 17 and I do seem to recall pics of the younger one as a toddler. I hope 2018 is the best year ever for you and your family. I love the pic of them all out hiking and on the big rocks. Beautiful. Sweet blessings.

Looked like a great family Christmas. I know you are thrilled to see your 'far-away' kids/grand..... BUT--where was your daughter in all of these pictures? Wasn't she there participating or hiking?????

Happy 2018...

Such sweet photos! Does your younger grandson resemble your first grandson at that age? It looks like he might.

OH! WOW! I love all your beautiful family photos. I think this post is the best one in your wonderful Blog. It cheers me up, and makes me smile seeing so much fun in your house. Each pic is unique & special. I certainly love it! I could see the happy faces in your beautiful grandchildren and your son playing -just like little kids. You also look so happy surrounded by your beloved family. It was indeed, a superb, happy & blessed Christmas for all of you. I hope you continue having blessed Christmas -like this one for many more years to come ahead. Your baby grandson looks so beautiful playing in your house. Disco, your dog, is having so much fun too. I could imagine how you must have felt that day embraced by your beloved family. Perhaps, you did not want that day to end... I did not see your daughter in your pics. Was she there too?... May the Lord keep on blessing each & everyone of you!! Big Hugs, Starry.
