WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST PET PEEVE????????

 What are your pet peeves!

I know mine right away - and I wish the people who own drive throughs read this.  There was a time when we used to have to count the change back - without a machine telling us what to give back.
We counted it out and THEN added the dollar bills.  Then handed out the receipt and then the food.

Well, my hands have arthritis these days, but I have always hated this, but now even more.

I drive through and hand them the money - then I drive to the next window - they put the receipt, with the dollars, and then the coins on top of all of it and expect me to grab it all and before I can move it to my other hand, they try to hand me the food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I almost drop everything.

SLOW DOWN!  TAKE A BREATH!  WHY ARE WE ALWAYS IN A HURRY - guess that is another pet peeve of mine, but the putting of coins on top of all the paper drives me nuts!!!!!!

What about being put on hold - you wait 30 minutes and when it clicks over, they disconnect you!

Not being able to get a 'live' person.

WHAT ABOUT YOU?     WHAT IS YOU PET PEEVE?

UPDATE ON RADON:

We tested a second time - but do not have the results yet.
We plan on going to the apartment complex manager and talk to them this week.

THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK:

“Extend to each person, no matter how trivial the contact, all the care and kindness and understanding and love that you can muster and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.”

—Og Mandino (1923-1996); essayist, psychologist

HELPFUL HINT:

Blood stains on clothes? Not to worry! Just pour a little hydrogen
peroxide on a cloth and proceed to wipe off every drop of blood. Works
every time! (Now, where to put the body?) LOL

JOKE - You gotta keep a sense of humor always . . .

DO YOU THINK I LIKE PUGS?
NO.
I LOVE PUGS! (And dancing hippos).

Drive throughs are not fun for sure. My biggest peeve would be the lack of courtesy these days. I've never seen so many rude people. There is not much consideration for others.

This would solve all the problems you mentioned here: the backwards change handing out, the phone calls, everything. Taking a few extra moments and a personal touch goes a long way. I am going to take this quote to heart. Be the change you want to see in the world they say. Bless you!

I find it sad that young people don't have to count out the change because it's creating a different entity.

My pet peeves: arrogance of people, and non-apology. for rudeness.

My pet peeves are that our freedom is being eroded day by day. Everything is getting more and more uncertain and difficult when it comes to flying and dealing with the government for businesses. We had wonderful healthcare but now, healthcare is almost non-existent, and so many Canadians are now without a family doctor because of the way the government is manipulating everything.

I don't do drive-thoroughs so I can't say anything about how they make change. I usually pay by debit at most stores.

I agree with DUTA on every count.

I'm quite tolerant and patient so it took me a while to sound out my pet peeves. I'm sure there are many others but I can't think of any more at the moment.

Take care, hugs.

The peroxide tip is really good, I need to remember it! It is very rare now that you can get a real person on a business call! One of my pet peeves is someone eating chips or another snack, and rattling the bag!

Gosh, I never thought about cash handling at drive-throughs. Maybe you could just send a link to this post to the corporate offices (McDonalds, etc.). Maybe their web sites even include a "Contact Us" link.
I think my biggest pet peeve are rude, aggressive drivers. Oh, and medical personnel who don't knock before entering the exam room.

Robo Calls, especially early in the morning, with no human on the other end.
On hold and never getting to speak with a live person.
Rude, blase clerks in stores that really don't care whether they can help you or not...
How's that for starters?
HaHa guess what I just found..my comment that disappeared!!!!

I hate people who don't use their turn signals.

Our drive-thrus - have 2 windows and when you pay, they do all the money transactions at the first window. The second window is for food. That would bug me to them, handing you everything including your food.

I say Robo-calls bug me the most. We have a blocker but they always get through eventually. I don't get too much on my cell phone - thankfully only occasionally.

That's all I can think of at this time - I'm sure there are more.

I've been thinking of you and the Radon scare. I hope you get all of that straightened out and soon. God Bless

I know it's my second run here but I have found a biggie... Well, it's a biggie to me and it's such a fun post.
All the different passwords to get into all the different accounts on the computer and the rig-a-maroon that we have to go through to set up all these accounts.
One little mistake and you get the run-a-round and pin numbers for debit cards and credit cards. A pin number to get into my online banking account. It's great if you have a good memory but someday, when I get tired, I struggle to remember. Three tried and if you can't remember, you're out of luck for that day.

That is totally a pet peeve of mine too, Sandie - being put on hold for half an hour, and then being disconnected, UGH! Drivers who tail gate is another one. What are they thinking? It's a recipe for disaster. Another pet peeve is workers who are supposed to show up, and if they're late or can't make it, they don't call to let you know! I've been thinking about you and the Radon issue. Let me know when you find out. Those pugs at the fountain are too cute. Love the kindness quote too.

Have a great week, Sandie, and happy February!

I rarely use drive-thrus, but they are convenient. I'm short waisted and have a difficult time reaching out of car windows as it is. I pay with credit card!
Keep us posted on the radon. When you gonna get a pug!?

My pet peeve is people who are always late. Drive-thrus can be a pain, I agree. Hydrogen Peroxide works great on blood stains! I've used it for years since a nurse told me about it. Love ya, my friend!!

I'm a crazy woman now...Lolol...getting more coffee...Lol

I have so many pet peeves that I was going to say that I could not list them but then after I read your post and read all the comments every single pet peeve that was mentioned here by you and by the other bloggers it fits on that list. One that I have that is not on here is our insurance people who keep calling about Bob and wanting to talk to him and then when I say you have a letter that you talk to me they don't have the letter but I have sent the letter and also that they keep calling when I tell them that we do not want to use the mail-in prescription no matter how many times I tell them they keep calling so now I don't answer the phone when they call and they send us a letter

Now no business wants to take your cash anyway. They just want you to tap your credit card and go. They get cross with me as my card isn't working properly so I need to insert it and use my pin number. They don't like it!

All of those are great! Your answer that would fix them all is a great one! My very own pet peeve is when my bank or credit card company or insurance company makes their website more efficient and better when I had just finally figured out how to use their previous 'improved' one. I sure hope your radon experience is about to be i

SO many:) Buggy return at the grocery store or shopping center. RETURN THE BUGGY unless you aren't able. I take it upon myself to get them and take them in the store. YEP, that's my biggest pet peeve! Enjoy your day dear friend, HUGS!

That is definitely true about the machine telling them what the change is. We can do it naturally. Yes, they are quick to keep the lines moving and I understand how you feel about grabbing it all at once.
I love the fountain.
