Dogs - Cats - Eagles - Squirrels - Lions and Chicago Dogs!

SEEING GOD IN EVERYDAY LIFE. . .

We had a little dog Disco who looked like this.

Disco thought like this too.

God has a GREAT SENSE of HUMOR.

BEAUTY EVEN IN CHICAGO DOGS!!

Aren't they beautiful!

A proper Chicago dog is an all-beef frankfurter (such as Vienna Beef) in a poppy seed bun, topped with yellow mustard, neon-green sweet pickle relish, chopped white onion, tomato slices, a dill pickle spear, pickled sport peppers and celery salt.

The bun should be steamed, not toasted, and adorned with poppy seeds. The sausage ought to be boiled or steamed, not grilled, and made entirely of beef, not a mixture of other meats.

AND YOU KNOW WHAT?

WE CAN'T FIND THEM HERE IN THE SOUTH.

The couple of places we did have - closed.

What do you think? What is your favorite?  What do you see in

your life that points to God?

Thank you for the beauty in this world God.

GOD IS ALMIGHTY!

These are all so awesome, I can't pick a favorite.
Oh wait, maybe the lionesss and her cubs. The warrior chihuahua is SO our GraceE ... the mouse that roars.

I admit, I don't 'get' Tom's passion for the Chicago Dog. He tells me, I can't understand because I've never experienced one. If you discover any 'round these parts please let me know!

These are some fantastic photos, especially the cat and the butterfly. That Eagle is really neat too. Oh, I miss the Chicago dogs. There was a hotdog eatery in my hometown, and I would go in there from time to time and order a Chicago dog. They were soooo good. I think the celery salt makes the Chicago dog. I didn't know about the poppy seed buns. This was a lovely post, Sandie. And to answer your question, the Doves come around my house often, and I love to hear their coooing song. Sometimes their song comes when I'm having a bad day and when I need it the most.

Have a blessed week, Sandie.

God is the Creator of everything and is everywhere - omnipresent and omnipotent.
The beef hot dog in the poppy seed bun looks very tempting!
All of your pictures, Sandie, are lovely!

God's beauty is truly everywhere. I saw it in the full moon this morning. I've never had a Chicago dog.but I do love them when cooked on a grill. They are one of my favorite things! Hope you are enjoying your summer !

there is nothing that can beat God's beauty. Its everywhere and its free... I am Southern to the bone and would not touch that hotdog... I like cheap hotdogs, boiled, fried, steamed grilled or even zapped 30 seconds in microwave. a nice white bread bun, relish, mayo and/or cheese in the hotdog. we grilled them split the dog, add sharp cheese, wrap with bacon and grill.. the bun need nothing when they are like that. not many eat mayo on hotdogs. if no mayo, capsup and mustard with relish. bob likes chili on his, not me

Your post sure has great examples of God's beauty. Just think of all of God's beauty we miss because we are not looking for it. All amazing photos. For me, I see God's beauty in a baby smile. It just warms the heart.

Enjoy the new week.
Hugs, Julia

Every flower I see, I think "God made'!

And I like cole slaw and mustard on a hot dog! Is that a Southern thing?

I have so missed reading your blog. I promise I will get better at visiting from time to time. I'm back on the blogging scene as I have also missed writing.

Thanks for sharing God's wonderous beauty through nature.

So true about little dogs when someone is at the door. Too funny. Being from the Detroit area, we love our Detroit Coney dogs. Viennas with mustard and chopped onions topped with chili on a steamed bun. No ketsup or pickles here. Janice

Neat photos. Every once in awhile I'll take one that's a keeper like that. Photography is so much fun.
The Warrior Chi is like our 3 dogs. They're small but 'mighty', if not in their own minds.
My favorite hot dogs right now are the Kroger Select with Arnold Keto Hot Dog Buns. I only use ketchup on mine. I'm so boring. lol
Have a great day. 💙

Thanks Sandy for your prayers. We will get through this and have been truly blessed by our friends. The Lord has been holding our hands this entire time.
Not going to be posting too much on blogger and not posting anything on fb for a while. Our son said we need to be silent for a while. The "bad Guys" are lurking and looking for an opening on our accounts.
I will still look at fb and will look at all of blogger friends post.
This really cramps my style but as I said , we will get through this.
