OCTOBER 22 TREES

A walk today will be a walk to a wedding.
Do you remember your walk to your wedding?

My dad was so nervous.  When I got to the alter - when I thought he was going to kiss me on the cheek - he gave me a little shove pushing me away - he didn't mean to, he was just so nervous,
but I do remember.

Remember last December my grandson got married?
This is what was read at the wedding.

On my way home from bible study last week I saw this tree and it just reminded me of that verse.

I collect photos of unique trees.

The Tree of Life - National Geographic.

Amazing World

New Zealand Wind

                                                                       Tree Cedar Falls

                                                                                ?

 Helpful Hint.

Lampshade Lint Roller

"Fabric lampshades are magnets for dust and pet hair. You can’t just throw them in the washing machine, so what do you do? I’ve found that a lint roller works really well. Be careful though, as lampshades are fragile and can even become brittle. A torn lampshade is worse than a dirty one."

Something to think about.

Something to laugh about.

Do you remember your walk down the aisle?

Do you love trees?

Cool looking trees. We have some unique ones on our property and further down the dirt road. Pine trees can look really wonky if they get twisted when young.

My walk today is to the post office. Finally catching up on correspondence. Love seeing all the interesting trees.

That's funny about your daddy pushing you at the altar! Those trees are amazing -- almost unreal, aren't they? Thanks for the tip about lamp shades; I usually use a Bounce sheet or feather duster, but the latter just winds up spreading the dust.

I wonder if the tree over the driveway and the one over the walkway were manipulated to grow that way...or are those AI photos? I can't tell!

I can't really remember my dad walking me down the isle. Who knows where my head was. But I do have the photo but I don't remember if he kissed me. OMG, those trees are amazing. That's a great idea for cleaning a lamp shade. Love the poem about the trees.

I do remember my walk down the aisle. What I remember most is the cat that came in the door and ran down the aisle before we got started. Everyone was saying..get the cat out of here.
Amazing photos of trees. I love the windswept one...like a bad hair day.

I do remember my walk down the hall. I took a pill for my nerves beforehand! These trees are AWESOME! I love what your son had read at his wedding. I have been using a lint roller on my lampshades, it works so well!

I do remember my walk down the aisle. I enjoyed your story. My Dad didn't seem to be nervous at mine. :)

Good lampshade tip!

Let me think back really hard.... I think I was so nervous (remember, I was extremely shy for many years) that I barely remember anything from our wedding. We LOVE Trees around my place. I think I may have mentioned, but not sure, that my husband is the president of his familys' 87 year old Tree Nursery. We grown all kinds of trees, but specialize in Pecan trees and fruit trees. Sam is the 3rd generation president. The picture that caught my eye was the of the tree arching over the driveway....You just wonder if it was trained to do so. I need the tip for the lampshade...those things are so hard to clean...

My Dad didn't push me when I was on his arm but I know he was very happy for me! (Or was that he was happy to be rid of me? LOL!) I love your photos of trees!

Lampshades have to be tested? Ha ha I’ll have to get one and try it. I just use the fake feather duster fiber dusterAnd the scripture you read at the wedding is perfect! And it is so very very true. My dad was waiting at the end of the aisle because he married us and he cried all the way through to Service

I remember walking down the aisle. It was the happiest day of my life at that point. Trees are so important in our lives. They produce the oxygen that keeps us a live. I so miss the large oak tree by my old house. The shade would be appreciated here. Our trees are little here and not much shade at all. But at least we have one.

Yes, I remember well. My train was so long, that my dad slipped on my train. You couldn't notice, but I did. He was so handsome. I miss him so. Those trees are amazing. I especially like the last one - it looks like God's Hand. That is great advice about the lamp shade. I'll have to remember that. I can't see the tree verse too well. I'll have to enlarge it. The trees are so special. They provide shade when we need it, and they are a resting place when we are weary. If only the trees could talk - they could tell thousands of stories from people sitting under them. ; ) Your post was delightful, and that first picture is beautiful.
