Did you have a blessed Easter - I hope so. It is truly the best celebration of the year.
We are so blessed to have been born in the USA to have freedom to believe.
Most holidays we are celebrating a person who died but did something important and we want to remember it.
But with Easter, yes Jesus died, yes, He did something important - the difference is
HE IS STILL ALIVE AND DOING SOMETHING!
We went to my mom and brother's graves and put on flowers. It was so windy that day we couldn't get them straight! I will have to go back and fix them better.
My grandson's birthday was this month - he turned 24. A lot of you have been with me since he was a little tot around four or younger.
Now, he is going to be a dad!
He'll be a good one, I am sure.
We went to Top Golf for his birthday.
We also went to have bar-b-que for dinner - his pick. Met his dad and other grandma so it was a very nice celebration.
Where did he get it and where was he going? I have no idea. He looked at me taking a picture looking at him!
He might have thought I was odd I thought that he was odd!
My grandson and granddaughter invited us to go to church with them on Easter.
Then they barbequed hamburgers and hotdogs.
I thought that was so nice.
Their first Easter, in their new home.
They had both families which was nice.
A holiday we didn't have to split.
They have a nice little house by a lake.
Hope y'all had a blessed Easter.

Congrats on your new great-grandbaby on the way!
Happy Resurrection to you all.
You had a perfect day!
I love what you said about Jesus still doing things. Yes!
On Easter we got some morning rain but the afternoon was sunny and warm. All of my Texan Family gathered fo ra steak dinner and we had stawberries and angel food cake for dessert ! It was a happy Easter for sure ! Glad you did too!
So glad to know that you had such a marvelous Easter with your beautiful family, Sandie! And that obituary for Jesus? Wow! I've never seen anything like that. Blessings, my friend!
Yes, our Easter was wonderful. Love that pug bunny. How nice that you visited the graves. All my family is in Chicago so I can't visit their graves. Top golf looks like fun. Sounds like a great dinner too! That is really odd about the man on the horse. Sounds like a lovely Easter Sunday. Take care.
I'm glad your day was so wonderful!
What a nice barbecue that your grandson had at his home for Easter. How delightful to see the man riding a horse. You don't often see someone riding a horse in the suburbs of Georgia, right? So good of you to put flowers on your mom and brother's site at the cemetery. I think that's important that we remember our dear ones and to keep their area kept up, if we live nearby. Happy Birthday to your grandson. Sounds like he had a special day. And I love that little picture of you at the end. ; )

I like charred bbq. Hamburgers and esp. hotdogs make my stomach grumble. You had quite a lovely group there.
Congratulations on your coming blessing, this is so exciting!! Looks like you had a wonderful Easter, I am so glad!!
What joy-FULL family celebrations! Happy Birthday blessings to Andy; wow, I can't believe he's 24 already! His "new year" sounds really promising.
That man on a horse, honestly, you never know what you will see beside the road! Once back in February, we saw a NAKED man walking beside the road! I called 911, I wonder if he was having some kind of medical issue. Never found out why he had no clothes on.
Such a lovely post and beautiful photos. Happy Easter and God bless you.
Congratulations on the expected gr-grand!! How fun!! Andy was a bit older than 4 when we met you all in person at Cracker Barrell way back when. Seems like he might have been around 10-12? Now he is going to be a dad!! I had a lovely Easter and it looks like you all did too!! xo
It sounds like you had a very nice Easter as well as celebrating your grandsons birthday. I do remember when he was just a little guy.
Yes, Jesus is alive today. Thank you for a wonderful post. Best wishes to you and your family. God bless you all.
Sounds like a nice and yummy day all around.
I can see why a horse back rider in town would seem odd. He was probably looking back at you to make sure y'all saw him and wouldn't endanger the horse. We all know how some drivers are so distracted these days. My goodness. The roads can be so unsafe now.
I'd eat what was cooked as I like charred food. Steve is always teasing me about that because that's the way I cook. lol He's a much more proficient cook than I am.
Blessings. 💞
Sandie, It sounds like the very best Easter celebrations you had. So nice to be with family and eat all that yummy food.
Love your picture of the man on horseback.
Yes, Jesus is Alive..that's the best way to celebrate.

It sounds like you had a truly special Easter, filled with meaningful moments and family gatherings. I love how you celebrated with your grandson and saw him growing up so fast—soon he'll be a dad! The story about the man on the horse is hilarious, it’s always fun when something unexpected happens. It must have been so nice to spend time with your family at your grandson’s new home by the lake. It’s wonderful how you all came together, making new memories and keeping traditions alive. I’m sure your Easter was just as blessed as it sounds.
Sounds like a very nice Easter!! Glad you enjoyed a special weekend. So did I...what a blessing to servce a risen savior!
I love holidays you don't have to split! Amber and Mike went to his parents for Easter dinner and then dropped by for a visit with us on the way home. Holidays should not be stressful and I am happy to see how y'all celebrated!
You had a perfect Easter Day! I wanted to have a barbecue but it’s not hot enough here. Congratulations on your new great gran child!
So pleased you had a lovely Easter with your family.
I did the same, it's always so nice to get-together.
All the best Jan
Oh your Easter sounds absolutely wonderful - even though something may have been a bit more well-done. Had to smile about the man on the horse riding down the street. No friend, you were not odd wanting a picture...I would have been out there with you (wait maybe that would make me odd too :)! So nice that you could celebrate with everyone. The flowers on your brother and mother's graves are lovely. I do my folks at Memorial Day . Have a blessed week.
