I miss her soooooooooooooooo much.
There is so much I wish I could tell her.
So many things I wish I could ask her.
Tell her I am sorry for some of the things I did.
And let her know, again, how much I loved her.
She was my best friend and confident.
Thank you mom.
My mom with the new great grandson. He was a couple years old when she died.

He's 24 now, married, with his own child on the way.
TIME GOES ON!
An interesting Mother's Day Story.
The Woman Who Had the Most Children in History
Valentina Vasilyeva, born in 1707 and died in 1782, is recognized as "the woman who had the most children in history" according to the Guinness Book of Records.
She was the first wife of Feodor Vasilyeva, a peasant from Shuya, Russia. At that time, there were no methods of birth control, and having children was considered both a religious and social obligation for women.
I PURCHASED THESE COZIES FROM ANN SNAP EDIT SCRAP
I LOVE THEM!
Love, Chatty

SENDING BEST WISHES FOR A HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO YOU! WE DO MISS OUR MOTHERS VERY MUCH, I HAVE SO MANY THINGS I WANT TO ASK HER. THANKFULLY I GOT TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME WITH HER WHEN SHE WAS STILL LIVING !
This is a wonderful post and I love how you posted the old photos. The world keeps turning, but it sure turns differently after our moms are gone. I know for me it's a kind of emptiness that no amount of time can heal. Your mom was a very pretty lady. Happy Mothers Day to you and I hope your day is so very special, just like you...
Very touching. Happy Mothers Day to you as well. I’m the only one left from my family too.
That was a sweet note to your mom. Love the photos. That photo on the stairs is so precious. That is crazy about that women. Have a wonderful Mother's Day.
What beautiful photos you shared here of your mother and grandmother, Sandie. No matter how long they've been gone, they are always in our hearts. Happy Mother's Day to you!
I'm the only one left of my family and I do so miss my Mom. We could have such wonderful talks and she was so patient with me. I'm thankful we lived close to each other so we could be in each others lives.
Love seeing those photos of your Mother and Grandmother. Beautiful family.

Beautiful and heartwarming photos and post! Happy Mother's Day to you!
The pictures of your Mom are such treasures, Sandie. So nice that you still have a few pics of her. Love the one of all of you with your brother. That is an incredible story about the Russian woman who had so many children. I thought my mother-in-law having 10 was a lot! Do those cozies keep the food warm? I like what you said in the first verse when you were talking about your dear mom. I sure miss my mom too.......especially at Mother's Day. What a sweet Mother's Day post, Sandie. I loved it all.

I loved my mom too. Still do! She passed 30 years ago and I’m still grateful for her.
I still have two sisters living, but lost my brother 20 years ago. That woman's womb was really something! Good golly!!
Sweet tribute to your mom. I miss mine too!
Wow, that woman must've been perpetually pregnant!
I love the cozies and did not know she made them in different colors! I will have to check them out. The first photo of your Mom, her hair and dress are exactly the same as my mom's!! I guess that was the style back then. This woman who had so many twins and triplets, unbelievable!!!!
I so love these olden photographs -- especially the first (elegant lady!) and the one of the two on that front porch. Not much porch sitting goes on these days, does it? I wonder what they were talking about.
That's a crazy story about that poor Russian woman.
I could NEVER imagine having that many children. Wonder how she remembered all of their names. I am thankful to still have my mom. Happy Mother's Day. Janice
What a lovely memorial for your Mother. Thank you.
Happy Mothers' Day, Sandie.
God bless you and your family.
I'm the odd one out because I was never close with my mom and don't have a lot of good memories of her.
Loved the pictures of your mother. What a pretty lady.

I loved all of your photos!! I sure wish I had more of my mother. I should dig around more and see what I can find. So special to enjoy the memories that old photos evoke. I hope you have a sweet weekend yourself. Happy Mother's Day!
Happy Mother's Day weekend! I love your share with your mom. I miss mine too. Everyday I wish I could talk with her and my big sis too. I read the story of the lady with all the children! She looked very tired. My goodness! A friend use to say, when we were younger, "Now I understand why my grandma made her own wine & drank it too! She had 17 children, 12 sons and 5 daughters! The boys were ornery. I knew this cause my dad grew up with them. But like my dad, they were all great baseball players and played in a semi pro league back before I was dreamed of! Two of them were in WWII and one survived the death march . What a generation of people. W O W ! Have a wonderful weekend.
It was just wonderful to see your lovely photos of your beloved Mom and also Grandma and brother. Mother's Day is such a special time to remember our moms as well as our grandma's. Like you, I miss mine so much. This holiday was always such a wonderful celebration. Hope you had a lovely Mom's Day as well as a Happy Anniversary! Take care and have a super week. Hugs!
