Our group at church made 120 cards for a home for troubled children.
Remember my friend, Edna, in a nursing home. I have been teasing her and trying to cheer her up with flamingos - I have decorated her room with them and have put 101 flamingos on her Facebook.
Put up a mock bulletin board in her room for Thanksgiving.In December I will put up a Christmas mural.
It was my husband's birthday November 6th.
He is a husband, father, grandpa, and now great grandpa. We went with grandpa this year.
Kelly and I treated ourselves to a mani/Pedi for Thanksgiving.
My other grandson in Cincinnati, Will, turned 15. In Cincinnati you can't get a learner's permit until you are 15 1/2. Doesn't make sense to me, but it is what it is. He is really excited. How did he grow up so fast?
Sure, wish I could show you my beautiful great granddaughter, but I can't. Son's rule, but she is sweet and awesome.
Still praying for the parents of Maggie Blake. A GO Fund me account has been set up for them and is doing well.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST:
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY . . .we have been invited to our granddaughter's families Thanksgiving. We are a set of three here, they have about 20. Her mom wants to keep the family together for Mackenzie and I really thank her for this.
REMEMBER THANKSGIVING IS A GOOD DAY TO TAKE A WALK - RIGHT AFTER DINNER!
sAs you can see, it's been a busy month. It's been happy and sad. Har work. Full of celebrations. Heartbreak.
Thirty days and so full and changing - from one day to the next.
You never know.

You have to have faith, beyond understanding.

That is such a special thing to do and make cards for those troubled children. There are so many hurting out there. Flamingos!!! Your friend is going to love the flamingo theme that keeps showing up in here room. What a creative idea to do that for her. The Christmas mural is going to be lovely I know, as you have faith and beautiful thoughts. Oh, little Mackenzie looks so sweet here, even if you can't see her full face. Yes, I've been wanting to start walking. I see my neighbor every day - he walks three times around the block! I've always loved that Romans verse. And lastly, that birthday cake looks so Yummy!

Doesn't it feel great to treat yourself to a pedicure? I so enjoy them. What a wonderful blessing to not only the nursing home recipients but to your church group as well. this is wonderful. I know Edna appreciates your kindness...you sound so much like me. I like to make sure my FIL's room at the NH feels like home and not just a room in the nursing home.
