JANUARY IN REVIEW
I usually have a summary of things I've done over the month - but obviously I did a whole lot of nothing in January.
Wish I could show you a picture of Mackenzie.
I did see a lot of Mackenzie, but I can't post on her.
Can't go out and do things with our icing weather.
I will tell you it is bad here.
We lost power from a tree falling on a power line somewhere - but we did get it back.
Lost internet service for a while - but it is back.
I wonder what pioneers used to do.
We are iced in because of the rain turning into ice from the cold temperatures.
I am thinking what to post today.
Think I will do odd photos again.
Just for fun and see what your think. 1 - 10

Keep warm and safe. Praying for you.
God bless.
I love the dandelion fountain - what a great idea!
It's snowing like crazy again here and once again all the schools are closed. I'm ready for Spring!
These CRACK US UP!!! Never thought about earrings that look like ears before, that definitely would cause some turned heads. But of course all of them would. Love it and I know you are crazy about Mackenzie, we do not blame you at all, YOu can't help it!!
I like the last one reninds me of Spring!
Mackenzie is sure growing and girl...I know you are loving every moment with her. Makes life great. I really like the dandelion fountains. All of these are unique especially the horse tail... have a good one today....Hope your wifi and electricity stays on...this ice can be so dangerous. We are still covered in ice.
Sandie, I'm sorry you are getting so much ice in your area. I know what you mean, I want to go out and do things, but it's been so cold here. I'm glad you got your power back too. Little Mackenzie is getting so big. The dandelion fountain was neat, and the dog in the snow is funny, but that horse's tail is ONE unique and wonderful photo. Love that one. Keep me updated on your weather, and try to stay warm and comfortable inside.
Some of those are so funny and some so bizarre. I do really like the last one. It makes me feel good too.
I have to admit I am glad January is coming to a close. Its been a hard month for us .
But
Spring will be here before we know it.

That dandelion fountain is amazing! Imagine what it would look like in bright sun. Rainbows everywhere, I think.
Thanks for the comment on my blog. I don't know how I found you but sometimes I just click on a comment on someone's blog, looking kindred souls. I love your eye for great photos. You asked where my follow badge it, it's in my right hand column but looks more like a banner than a badge. for
The dandelion fountain and the bird! But those ice bubbles...what the? I hope you didn't lose any food in the power outage.
I lost your message twice. Sorry about your weather. I understand why they don't want you to share her pictures. Love the fountain, the fox in the snow, the dog with the bubbles, the horse butt is too funny and that bird sure has wings. Those ice bubbles are very interesting. Don't care for the earrings. The feet fingers are cute, that tree is beautiful and I love the squirrel. Take care.
7 & 8 did nothing for me, all the other photos were great, 2, 3, 5, 6 & 10 are all as fantastic as each other.
Trusting your weather thaws out soon.
Sorry to hear about losing power and internet. I never know what to do with myself when they go out.
Cool pictures, I liked them all.
The dandelion fountain is my favorite, but I did laugh at the ear earrings. A fun exercise, Sandy! Thanks for sharing your finds!! xo (I can't show pictures of my great-nephews, either.)
Some of these are very bizarre, but I really liked the last one, and the one of the dog blowing bubbles.
I just noticed the picture of you and your boys on the sidebar. Very nice. What kind of harnesses are they wearing? They look like what my granddaughter wears when she goes to one of those indoor climbing walls
Good choices on the photos. Mine is #9 with the AI colored trees. So pretty. That would make a dandy jigsaw puzzle.
Glad your power and internet have returned! We have an (almost) All-house Generator. That thing is well worth the money. Such a blessing.
Y'all stay safe and warm. 💓
I've been cleaning and organizing during all month long. Staying close to home. Love all your clever photos!
Finally I can sit down and reply. Oh I really like #1 the dandelion fountain and #10. Wow so you really was hit hard.
Losing power is not fun. Back in Oct 1989, we lost power for a few hours after our big earthquake but it seemed like hours . We kept hearing the bay bridge had collapsed, and the city was on fire on the battery radio but, couldn't see it on tv until the next morning. Of course our imaginations were running wild. Then we had intermittent power outages for quite some time afterwards. I've never had to be without power for any length of time.
Hopefully this is it for this year. Mackenzie sure is cute and that you get to spend time with her! ❤
That's a sweet photo of Mackenzie and her mom. I also enjoyed the other photos. I don't think I will be buying the earring earrings any time soon, lol! Amazing how photos can be manipulated. Glad your power loss was only for a short time, internet too. We have been fortunate so far. It has crossed my mind how those pioneers coped in the winter time. Can't imagine what they must have thought. It must have been like living on another planet. Enjoy the rest of the week and weekend ahead.
Hope the cold weather stops and that you can go out again! Number4 is so funny!
Fun seeing your photo choices.
A sweet photograph of Mackenzie.
All the best Jan
I like the dandelion fountain!! And no to the ear earrings, lol.
I totally relate! 😅 Sometimes doing “a whole lot of nothing” is exactly what January is for — a little reset before the year picks up. Love your honesty; it’s so relatable and funny at the same time! ✨💛

Sandie hope that everything is much better now in your part of the world. My favorite photo is #10 as well. I am beginning to dream of spring. Still must say the snow is beautiful and we have had moonlight the last two nights...so pretty - hugs!
The dandelion fountain is the coolest thing I have ever seen!! // Ummm, number 4... hahahaha! // I pray we all get a break (hopefully permanent break) from all this snow and ice and freezing temps! Have a great start to February, Sandie! 💕
Ha ha, that number 4 CRACKS me up!
These pictures are amazing, some gave me a chuckle
