LIFE: That’s the very best thing we can do!! “Go quietly on…” - Esther Walker on YouTube
I am a fighter - I want things to be right. This year I am going to be quieter.
I am going to go more with the flow.
KIDS: We can pray, love and support them. That’s all they want anyway. (Unless once in a blue moon they might ask for advice!)
Hair tourniquet syndrome is a rare condition where a strand of hair or thread wraps tightly around a body part, often affecting infants,
leading to pain and potential complications if not treated promptly.
Poor Mackenzie got this. A hair wrapped around her toe. Parents could not get it off, so they had to take her to the ER. They had trouble as well. Finally, they put Nair on it and bandaged her foot. Poor baby got a chemical burn on her other toes, but they had to get it off.
I have never heard of this in my entire life! Amazing.

I am praying for Mackenzie and her family.
Yes, we have 365 opportunities ahead of us. Let us use them wisely.
God bless you and your family.
Bless you baby girls heart. I have never heard of this but thank goodness the doctor was able to get it off. I sure pray that the irritation goes away quickly..Cute memes Sandie...especially the one where kids MIGHT ask for advice. lol. I love the thought that we have 365 days a year for opportunities...this is a good reminder to LOOK for those opportunities. Enjoy the week...
He drank milk!
Good thoughts on next year.
Poor Mackenzie. I've heard of this but never knew someone that had it. Glad it's taken care of!
I have never heard of the hair on babies, wow, that is scary.. so glad they got it off, prayers for the red to go away quickly and for no pain for your baby girl...
Thankfully they were able to help your granddaughter. I never heard of that before. You are right about what kids want. Rarely am I asked for advice now that I'm older. I do think each day is an opportunity to do better than the day before. Prayers all will be well soon!
I never heard of that as well and I had a daycare - and was a nanny for 30 years. I can see how that happens, though. Poor Mackenzie. That must have hurt. I always love the freshness of a new year. Like stepping in fresh snow. New footprints leading to 365 opportunities! Love it.
Oh, poor little Mackenzie. I'm so glad they got the strand of hair from her toe. Is she Ok and healing now? Have never heard of this, but they do have some strange things out there with the little ones. And when they start school, it seems to pass from one child to another. I like the first quote, "what will the new year bring us?" That's so true about the kids....pray, love, and support them. I hope the new year is being gentle and kind to you so far, Sandie. Have a wonderful January week.
Poor Mackenzie! I'm relieved to know that she's okay now and healing, Sandie. What a scare for all of you! Loved your memes, of course. So uplifting in the New Year. Blessings!
Amen to that! One day at a time! I will pray for Mackenzie and her family, Sandie.
What an amazing image of Jesus ... I've never seen anything like that before. That's so crazy about baby girl's toe; Andy must have been beside himself. Love the 365 Opportunities, don't you?
I'm with everyone else ... poor Mackenzie ... I never heard of anything like that. So glad the DR. could finally get it off. Praying for complete recovery.

Oh Sandie...my heart feels for MacKenzie...that had to be extremely painful. Like you I have never heard of such a thing before. So glad they were able to get it off and she can start to heal. Your picture of the ladies made me smile. Bloomers may be a thing of the past but how cute - makes me want a pair. Hope you have a great beginning to the new year. Hugs!
Bless Mackenzie, such an ordeal to endure when ones only just arrived, especially seeing the treatment caused a burn.
I never plan too far ahead, I always prefer to go with the energy the day brings...and my own vibe of each new day.
Milk is what he was drinking.
I know about this hair thing with babies! We watch those Emergency Room live shows, and saw a baby come in with one. I hope she heals quickly. I love your quote about how it takes most of your life to learn to live.
I had never heard of the hair thing. Poor Mackenzie. Glad they were able to get it though.
That second picture down is so true. If only I could have been more laid back and enjoyed things more when I was younger
He is drinking milk.
I have never heard of that problem before poor baby I hope everything goes better for her.
Hope Makenzie gets better. So heartbreaking for a parent to go through. Love the first meme. Janice
