M's Corner:

A little note on M - she is allergic to eggs!  She loved them too.  Now she has to be checked by an allergist.  They are hoping it doesn't include peanut butter too!

Her first wedding being held by grandma.  She was the bell of the ball.

She also went swimming for the first time on Sunday.  She is such a good sport.  NOTHING phases her right now.

I got a 1 - never listened to a boombox outside.
I love the pin the tail on the donkey clip. LOL!
Poor little M. I hope she outgrows this.

You got me too early in the morning to see where the Owl is haha. I'll look again. Oh my, I've done so many of those old things - I used to have a collection of encyclopedias, but gave them away. And I used to love those vinyl records. Would listen to them all the time with a friend. Mackensie had her first time in the pool hehehe. I hope she outgrows the allergy to eggs. Love that "partying all night" quote. A fun hodgepodge today, Sandie. And it always gets my thinking cap on, so thank you!

Happy June!

You didn't show up on the reader feed but I know you post on Tuesdays! Yep I got a zero too - I guess that means we're vintage...or antique?
I got a 95 on the life expectancy quiz. We'll see. 😉
Number 3 is different. I'm sure M will outgrow the egg allergy. My middle son was allergic to everything until he was older. It was very hard to find food he could eat.
Enjoyed your post!

I am praying for M and for you all.
There are two things I never did. I could not find the owl and I think the middle cat is different.
God bless.

I got 4. Prayers for M and all of you. Beautiful photos and lovely illustrations. Cat #2 is different.

I got a zero! Who has not done all of those things? Someone under 30?

I got a 2 on the first one. Our son was allergic to eggs as a baby. But he grew out if it.

zero points for me too. So sorry to hear about M's allergy. Hope she isn't allergic to much.

The donkey picture was hilarious! Many children grow out of having an egg allergy, hopefully little M does too.

I got zero as well. I have one for you. How about using a party line phone? That donkey meme made me chuckle. Janice

How fun this was! Zero points for me, as well. I want to do the Life Expectancy test tomorrow morning with coffee -- while my brain's still semi-smart. How do you find these things!

"0" for me, too. I don't see an owl. My life expectancy is 98. Good golly! Your little M is adorable!! I enjoyed this post!! I didn't do the calculation but know I am a Tuesday child. xo

Zero for me too. I guess that makes us “classics”!
The lifespan calculator gave me a chuckle, though I’m not sure I want to know my age in days.
Poor little M, I hope she outgrows the egg allergy quickly. She sounds like such a brave spirit, swimming for the first time and taking everything in stride.
A sweet hodgepodge today-- made me smile!

0 for me also. My daughter had allergies too young but she grew out of them. The allergist said at a young age their immune systems are changing a lit.

I got 0 on the first one. I guess we are that old. Sorry to hear about the egg allergy, ouch, they are in everything. Hope she outgrows it! Thanks again for a fun read. The last time I took an age test, it said I would live until 66, but hey now I'm 82. They don't know everything!

I can see the owl now - with a little help from my friend.
God bless.

My brain is in LaLa land right now and I just don't have the strength to figure out my age ...
At least I have breath and am above ground.
Praying for M. too

This was fun. Aren't owls amazing? Masters of camouflage. Little M is a brave little girl if she is taking swimming lessons, and her first wedding too? What a sweetheart!

I think I got a 2. I can't find the owl. I got an 86 also. Cat #3. I am 27275 days old. Pin the tail on the donkey is too cute. So sorry to hear that about M. James is allergic to bee stings. Sweet photo from the wedding. The duck is adorable.

M’s Corner really stood out. Egg allergy news is not something small at all, especially when it changes foods that were once simple pleasures. It is good she is being checked properly, though I hope peanut butter does not end up on that list too. How is she managing with all the adjustments so far?

Her first swimming experience sounds like a lovely milestone. There is something special about watching someone take to water for the first time, especially when they take it all in stride. It sounds like she is handling everything with a calm spirit right now, which is quite something to see.

A warm and varied post overall, the kind that leaves you thinking about all the small moments that make up a week.

I am with you - a zero - the cat in the middle is different...saw the owl and I am to live to 100 (thinking that might just be a wee too long- lol)! Thank you sweet friend for sharing the good things in this post. Sorry M is allergic to eggs - pray not peanut butter. How soon will they know about that allergy? Take care and have a lovely weekend. Hugs!

Oh, what a wonderfully chaotic and fun Hodgepodge post! I love these kinds of updates so much. First of all, wait—a ZERO on the owl puzzle?! Oh no! Now you have my competitive side flaring up because I am staring at that photo squinting my eyes, desperately trying to spot the hidden owl. They are the absolute masters of camouflage, so don't feel bad at all.

That age calculator is wild to look at, isn't it? 26,755 days of a beautiful, full life and counting! Seeing it broken down into weeks and days like that really makes you stop and appreciate the journey. And hey, 86 on the lifespan calculator means you still have so many more thousands of days of blogging, making memories, and having fun ahead of you!

Did you ever end up finding that sneaky owl, or did you completely give up on it? Sending you and sweet M the biggest hugs for a wonderful, sunny weekend!

I get a zero on the test. That shows my age. Loved the posting.

NanaDiana said...

I also got a ZERO on the test and the age calculator tells me I will live to be 99! Wow....Hope my mind lives as long as I do...lol. The back paw on the middle kitty is missing and you have to zoom in on the owl...look at the knotholes. Little Miss M is the princess, of course. She may outgrow the allergy to eggs. Many do. If she doesn't she will have to steer clear of some vaccines because they have an egg base-especially flu shots and some others--I know rabies shots do, too. Hoping NO ONE ever needs rabies shots, right?!
Happy weekend, Sandie! xo Diana
