OCTOBER 13 DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH TIME?

Do you have enough time?

(EXACTLY WHAT I FEEL AT TIMES)

Do you remember this song?

MACKENZIE'S CORNER

SHE GOT SCARED AND NEEDED HER DADDY.

"TIME WELL SPENT."

Love, Chatty

Love that sweet picture of Mackenzie with her Daddy. That is precious. And yes, regarding the calendar. People laugh at me with all my calendars, but it is amazing how quickly they get filled up. I only write on a couple of them, but they serve a real purpose to help me stay on track...and yes, look for a "free day" with nothing to do and try to keep it that way so I can actually get something done! LOL. Have a blessed rest of your week.

Oh, and yes, I loved the song by Jim Croce. It's bittersweet, knowing that he later died in a plane crash much too soon...

Seeing Mackenzie with her daddy made my day, Sandie! Yes, we think retirement will be full of free days, but it's anything but, isn't it? Have a wonderful week!

Yes, the calendar fills up each month with this and that, but I make it a point to have time to do the things just for me, and which brings me peace. The world spins too fast, and much of it is nonsense, so I cherish those little pieces of gratitude, and toss the others. Your e-mails each day are on my thankful list, and they make me smile. That is the sweetest picture of Mackenzie and daddy. I remember that song; it used to be popular back in the day. Have a happy blessed week, Sandie.

That is very, very true about retirement. So many doctor appointments and besides having an aging body, I have an aging house and aging appliances! Yikes! I do remember that song and I love it. By the way, Jim Croce's son is a very accomplished singer/musician too. His name is AJ Croce. We saw him once years ago in concert, he is awesome.

Jim Croce was a favorite of Joe's. They both went to Villanova! What a sweet photo of Mackenzie with her daddy!! I still remember him from when we met in person all those years ago. He was a shy little guy!! Love & hugs, Sandie!!

That song is a real oldie. I just saved it so I can give the lyrics a better listen.

The picture of Mackenzie with her daddy says it all.
Time really is a gift, and I’m learning to treasure the small pieces of it.

Time never rushes for me, mainly because I gave up wearing a watch decades ago.

Daddy always makes things feel safer.

My dad always said he was busier after he retired than when he was working.
I've always loved Jim Croce and that song is a good one

Love that song too.
Some days time seems to just stand still
and others its like a freight train zooming along.

Not enough time is plaguing me too. My calendar is full of appointment and commitments. Sunday is my do nothing day if I can get away with it.
I retired from having a pay check but I guess, I really never retired.

Hugs, Julia

Hi. Thanks for dropping by my blog. I was diagnosed with BC in 2004. In April I will celebrate 23 years as a survivor. I am living in Auburn, Alabama presently, but will move to the northwest corner of the state soon. I lived in Woodstock, GA for 25 years. That is where I raised my kids. I hope you are doing well.

This song takes me back, time is a very slippery thing, isn't it? Your Mackenzie is a little darling (and getting to be not so little).

Sweet grandson. Sweet, loving dad.
The best thing about being retired is being able to sleep in...
Wonderful.
I get up whenever I want.
Lovely.
