When the whole world is running towards a cliff, - he who is running in the opposite direction appears to have lost his mind. C.S.Lewis

People who live their faith . . .

Being a Christian is like being a pumpkin. God lifts you up, takes you in, and washes all the dirt off of you...Then He carves you a new smiling face and puts His light inside you to shine for all the world to see.

On Sundays I like to do a little piece about religion. I'm a Christian, one of my best friends is Jewish. We share a lot of the same basic beliefs and we teach each other a lot. It's so wonderful and we are so lucky and blessed that we live in America where we can chose to believe what we believe!

Well, it is getting colder - even in Georgia. They're having a big book fair that one of my blogging friends, Sue, told me about at Jim Miller Park. Got a group of 4 gals going to check it out! Must be huge because it is where they hold our county fair.

Happy Birthday to George C. Scott -

George C. Scott's portrayal of the swaggering and controversial George S. Patton in the 1970 film Patton has become, to many, his greatest performance. Many film critics and historians consider it one of the greatest performances in the history of cinema.
