Guess who had the best time?
Now getting to the animal part of the post. Cincinnati is know as the city where pigs fly.
"The phrase "when pigs fly" is an adynaton – a figure of speech so hypberbolic that it describes an impossibility. The implication of such a phrase is that the circumstances in question (the adynaton, and the circumstances to which the adynaton are being applied) will never occur.
Because of the historical importance of the pig industry to the city, flying pigs are prominent in the local iconography of Cincinnati, including in such events as the Big Pig Gig and the Flying Pig Marathon.
"When pigs fly" is an adynaton, a way of saying that something will never happen. The phrase is often used for humorous effect, to scoff at over-ambition. There are numerous variations on the theme; when an individual with a reputation for failure finally succeeds, onlookers may sarcastically claim to see a flying pig. ("Hey look! A flying pig!")" So as you can imagine - we really didn't see any flying pigs.
We did see some lazy pigs (now I am just kidding). The three boys watching animal planet.

Happy Birthday Marlee Matlin - wikipedia
Matlin was born in Morton Grove, Illinois, to Libby and Donald Matlin, an automobile dealer. She has two older brothers, Eric and Marc. She is of Russian Jewish descent. She lost all hearing in her right ear and 80% of the hearing in her left ear at the age of eighteen months. Matlin graduated from John Hersey High School in nearby Arlington Heights and attended Harper College. In her autobiography, I'll Scream Later, she suggests that her hearing loss may have been due to a genetically malformed cochlea. She also indicated that she is the only member of her family who is deaf, as her parents, siblings, and children are not deaf at all.
I met this woman on Sesame Street - when my son and daughter were toddlers. I would always watch it with them because I just loved it - my second childhood I guess.
And way this is the funniest thing - I graduated from John Hersey High School in Arlington Heights! Named after the writer John Hersey who wrote Hiroshima
