No, these guys aren't the sharks, they visited the sharks!

On Saturday the Bloggers were invited to come to the Aquarium - two free tickets were given. Thank you to the Georgia Aquarium and to Scott. I'm not sure why, but I do want to say thanks. See, it pays to be a blogger!

My friend Cheri sent me an email telling me about it. Thank you.

Then Sue and Joyce - we emailed back and forth about the event and here we were. Thank you to them for their help.

You see the wonderful world of blogging?

One person meets another person and that person meets one of their friends, and so forth - and if you do it right and with a good an open heart - I believe good things happen to you.

While his mom, my daughter, and I went for a day of beauty - we wanted to go, but we couldn't change the appointment and our gal is booked way in advance.

So we decided to let the boys bond.

My grandson had been sick for two weeks so he was thrilled to go out with his grandpa.

They had a day of bonding.

Can you see how happy he was? And how interested he was and how much he learned? Not just about fish either.

Now this is kind of like Erma Bombeck's poem.

They were doing something very important.

They were living in the moment.

My daughter and I got beautiful - well she did - I'm much improved!

So alls well that ends well.

And that is the end of my story.

Young is best known for his role in Father Knows Best (1949-1954 on radio, 1954-1960 on television), for which he and his co-star, Jane Wyatt, won several Emmy Awards.
Young later became famous for Marcus Welby, M.D. (1969–1976), which co-starred a young James Brolin, for which he won an Emmy for best leading actor in a drama series. Young became so well identified with his wise doctor persona that he became famous as the commercial spokesman for an aspirin product, saying, "I'm not a doctor but I play one on TV", while wearing a lab coat. He continued making television commercials until the late 1980s.

Despite the fact that he portrayed happy, well-adjusted characters, Young suffered from depression and alcoholism, which contributed to his suicide attempt in 1991. Afterwards he spoke candidly about his problems in an effort to encourage people to seek help with their own.

Young died at his home in Westlake Village, California at 91 from respiratory failure. He was interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery, in Glendale, California. Young has two stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
