GS made a peacock. Out of paint, paint stirrers, and a bottle cap.
And a round solid piece of wood for the body.
I am not sure what this is supposed to be on the peacock???
What's in a name? Now this had our last name on it - I put roses over it - so if you make one - put the last name of your family on it. It is a big block of wood - painted and the hanger is made of beads and wire.
Now his dad doesn't live with us - but he put him in here anyway. That's okay with us.
The faces are rocks and then the GS painted them. My grandson is the only person that can spell my name Sandy - I changed it at age 15 to Sandie. I wanted to change myself from who I had been to who I am now - or at least it was the beginning of my journey or metamorphosis .
So what is in a name? Do you remember going to Vacation Bible School? Did you ever change your spelling? What does your name mean to you?
