Inspirational People Week - Patrick Swayze
Patrick Swayze - he's a star I've always considered one of the good ones - just like another hero who recently died - actor Paul Newman. These men lived their values and I believe did not let "Hollywood' destroy their core belief system. And they are dying with dignity. Not easy when you are under the spotlight. I wish Patrick Swayze the very best.
It is one of the most beautiful compensations of life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.-Ralph Waldo Emerson

He's remained amazingly positive throughout his illness, and has been inspirational. We should all be so brave if faced with such a fate. That type of cancer is one of the worst to have.
He's been filming a television program for A & E that takes place in Chicago. He looks remarkably good in the newspaper article I read this week. He is tough as nails and I wish him well. I can't wait to see the new TV show.
BTW - I found your blog via Boggers Over 50 which I just joined.
