Sometimes the thing you most dislike about other people, is the thing you dislike most about yourself. Recognize it, and work to change it from within….

How about just "recognize and accept it."

Many times, people dislike things in themselves/others that they perceive OTHERS (or their societies) dislike or disapprove of -- many times, these traits are not necessarily "bad" and don't need to be changed, IMHO.

I like these reflective posts.
