Happy New Year's Eve

He sent this to me so I thought I'd share it with you - lol!

Life is too short to wake up with regrets.

Love the people who treat you right.

Forget about the ones who don't.

Believe everything happens for a reason.

If you get a second chance, grab it with both hands.

If it changes your life, let it.

Nobody said life would be easy.

They just promised it would be worth it.

Happy Birthday John Denver-
Denver was born in Roswell, New Mexico as Henry John Deutschendorf, Jr to Erma Louise Swope and Henry John Deutschendorf, Sr., an Air Force officer and flight instructor of German ancestry.

A pilot with over 2,700 hours of experience, Denver had single-engine land and sea, multi-engine land, glider, and instrument ratings. He also held a type rating in a Learjet. He had recently purchased the Long-EZ aircraft and had taken a half-hour checkout flight with the aircraft the day before the accident. The NTSB cited Denver's unfamiliarity with the aircraft and his failure to have the aircraft refueled as causal factors in the accident. Denver was the sole occupant of the aircraft.

Before the accident, the FAA had learned of his failure to abstain entirely from alcohol subsequent to drunk driving arrests, and since his medical certification was conditional on this, a determination was made that due to his drinking problem, he was not qualified for any class of medical certification at the time. At least a third-class medical certification was required to exercise the privileges of his pilot certificate. There was no trace of alcohol or any other drug in Denver's body at autopsy, however. As the wreck badly disfigured Denver's body, dental records were needed to confirm that the fallen pilot of the Long-EZ was indeed the singer.

This is the day to decide where you will be going. . .

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND YOURS! No, we are not completely moved out, just one more small load of "his" things and then we will be done, but those might not get moved until we sell and have to come for the closing or home inspection.

Whatever you wrote after George's picture was lost. I am still looking and lusting. Maybe I should check my mailbox and see if he sent me the same greeting? ;-)

George Clooney is HOT! Need I say more! lol John Denver's song Country Roads Take me Home to the Place I Belong West Virginia Mountain Mama Take Me Home Country Roads was always a favorite of mine and still is. It was actually playing on the radio the day that we moved back to West Virginia. I had just gotten on the Beltway and it started playing. I was singing and crying at the same time! My husband was driving the Ryder truck and I was driving my car. What a site!

Great pictures of you and your family! We need to do that too!

Happy New Year!

Loved your family picture! Manuel lets me post him or his kids, but none of the others have given me permission... except Robert, I guess as he only has Dott and Mercy.

We wish you a very Happy New Year. One that is blessed by God at every turn in the road. May His light shine clearly on the paths He has put before you as those are always the best! Linda
