Something to think about. . .

I just don't get no respect!

Something I always think about - when I look outside - is the difference between what God 'makes' verses what man 'makes'. You ever look out and see a beautiful picture only to have some power lines or lights in the way?

In God's work there are no lines - he paints the tree and the clouds without definitely defining it - it's more abstract - while what we make is made mostly with lines and edges. Our work pales by comparison to his.

Do you ever think about things like that?

This is our section of road that washed out in the flood GA had a couple of months ago. We lost the trees that arched over the road - but at least the road is finished. This is December in Dixie.

This is the club house - in GA a lot of developments have a community pool, tennis courts and this is our club house. Christmas decorations and beautiful scrubs still blooming.

I have to brag on Georgia once in awhile -

And now Happy Birthday to Britney Spears -

Do you remember she got her start on the New Mickey Mouse Club, as well as Justin Timberlake, and Christina Aguilera?

Check out this You Tube of them in the Mickey Mouse Club:

very true...power lines just ruin the natural peacefulness of God's handiwork.

Georgia looks like it would be a beautiful place to visit especially this time of year. Our temp. is going to drop into the teens tonight. Time to build a fire in the fireplace.

Gee...just had a similar conversation with my hubby on those darn power lines. We live on a lake and there are many times I take pictures of the beauty that surrounds us, but...I always have to work around those darn lines!
Living it up at Lakewood,

Yes..I guess every now and then even though we are yankees that we have to brag about georgia....it's not too bad compared to most of the world....

I tend to think it is all made by God any way; I do believe he gave the knowledge to us to make power lines, etc (all of our technology). I've never been to Georgia but it does look beautiful!

Thanks for coming by to visit.

You asked about our Turducken. It is a turkey, stuffed with a duck, stuffed with a chicken.

The turkey is deboned except for the wings and legs. The other two are completely deboned. He also stuffed it with various herbs and dressing.

Lots of work but it was presented beautifully.
