Fun Friday

The Black Bra
(as told by a woman)

I had lunch with two of my unmarried friends. One is engaged, one is a mistress and I have been married for twenty plus years.

We were chatting about our relationships and decided to amaze our men by greeting them at the door wearing a black bra, stiletto heels and a mask over our eyes.

We agreed to meet in a few days to exchange notes. Here's how it all went.

My engaged friend:
The other night when my boyfriend came over he found me with a black leather bodice,
tall stilettos and a mask.
He saw me and said, 'You are the woman of my dreams. I love you.'
Then we made passionate love all night long.

The mistress:
Me too! The other night I met my lover at his office and I was wearing a raincoat, under it only a black bra, heels and a mask over my eyes. When I opened the raincoat he didn't say a word but he started to tremble and we had wild sex all night.

Then I had to share my story:
When my husband came home I was wearing a black bra, black stockings, stilettos and a mask over my eyes.. When he came in the door and saw me he said,

'What's for dinner, Batman?'

Color Test
These are the things we're supposed to do to remove the cholesterol around our brain and try to slow upAlzheimer's Disease.. It took me at least times before I could finally tell this brain of mine to concentrate. A great test, do it until you get 100%!
Bet you can't get 100% on the first try! But I'm rootin' for ya...
This is pretty neat! See how you do with the colors! Have fun!
It takes an average of 5 tries to get to 100%. Follow the directions!
It's harder than it seems, as it should be!
A brain waker-upper for today!

NOW . Take your total and find out which Movie Star you are:

(10-17 points) You are MADONNA:
You are wild and crazy and you know it. You know how to have fun, but you may take it to extremes. You know what you are doing though, and are much in control of your own life . People don't always see things your way, but that doesn't mean that you should do away with your beliefs. Try to remember that your wild spirit can lead to hurting yourself and others.

(18-26 points) You are DORIS DAY:
You are fun, friendly, and popular! You are a real crowd pleaser. You have probably been out on the town your share of times, yet you come home with the values that your mother taught you. Marriage and children are very important to you, but only after you have fun. Don't let the people you please influence you to stray.

(27-34 points) You are DEBBIE REYNOLDS:
You are cute, and everyone loves you. You are a best friend that no one takes the chance of losing. You never hurt feelings and seldom have your own feelings hurt. Life is a breeze. You are witty, and calm most of the time. Just keep clear of back stabbers, and you are worry-free.

(35-42 points) You are GRACE KELLY: CHATTY CRONE
You are a lover. Romance, flowers, and wine are all you need to enjoy yourself. You are serious about all commitments and are a family person. You call your Mom every Sunday, and never forget a Birthday. Don't let your passion for romance get confused with the real thing.

(43-50 points) You are KATHERINE HEPBURN:
You are smart, a real thinker. Every situation is approached with a plan. You are very healthy in mind and body. You don't take crap from anyone. You have only a couple of individuals that you consider 'real friends'. You teach strong family values. Keep your feet planted in them, but don't overlook a bad situation when it does happen.

(51-60 points) You are ELIZABETH TAYLOR:
Everyone is in awe of you. You know what you want and how to get it. You have more friends than you know what to do with. Your word is your bond. Everyone knows when you say something it is money in the bank. You attract the opposite sex. Your intelligence overwhelms most. Your memory is the next thing to photographic. Everyone admires you because you are so considerate and lovable. You know how to enjoy life and treat people right.

Happy Birthday Rex Harrison - Wikipedia
After a bout of childhood measles, Harrison lost most of the sight in his left eye which on one occasion caused some on-stage difficulty.

On 25 July 1989 Harrison was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II at Buckingham Palace. An orchestra played the music of songs from My Fair Lady.

Harrison was married six times. In 1942 he divorced his first wife, Colette Thomas, and married actress Lilli Palmer the next year; the two later appeared together in numerous plays and films, including The Fourposter.

In 1947, while married to Palmer, Harrison began an affair with actress Carole Landis. Landis committed suicide in 1948 after spending the night with Harrison. Harrison's involvement in the scandal surrounding Landis' death damaged his career and his contract with FOX was ended by mutual consent.

Harrison and Lilli Palmer divorced in 1957. That same year, Harrison married actress Kay Kendall. Kendall died of leukemia in 1959. He was subsequently married to Welsh-born Rachel Roberts from 1962 to 1971 (Roberts committed suicide in 1980). Harrison then married Elizabeth Rees-Williams and, finally, Mercia Tinker, who would become his widow in 1990.

Hello, Ms. Chatty Sandie!

Okay, I finally got the hang of the color test. LOL! It took me some tries, but I scored 100. LOL! That after four hours of sleep (I had insomnia last night) and will be traveling AGAIN in a few.

And it doesn't surprise me that we got the same answer on the personality thing. I'm Grace Kelly, too, but I came out on the high end, moving toward Katherine Hepburn.

Great post Sandie!

I could read the scrambled up part of your post without any problems at all! That sure is funny isn't it!

I'm not sure which star I would be but after looking at who each were I think I'm a mix of a couple of them!

Have a Great Weekend!

Think we should form a Grace Kelly society? I passed the color test the second time around. That sure requires concentration! The scrambled words were no problem. Maybe my ability was honed when I worked for a doctor many years ago.

Hope your weekend is wonderful.

Sandie; Today's entire post was a screaming riot. GREAT JOB! The Bat Man joke cracked me up something fierce. Did you hear me chortling all the way from Massachusetts? Let's see. I could read the scrambled words without a hitch. I'm Katherine Hepburn! Fancy that. Wish I had her body! Ha! And I got 75 on the colors test. Have a fabulous Friday! You deserve it after that post! Sincerely, Susan from

Good Morning Sweetie...
I have to tell you this was a FUN, FUN, FUN post. I loved it. I got a 100% on the color test. Read the instructions and you always will (this comes from being an IT Specialist).

Oh my I am a Grace Kelly, but 1 point away from being Katherine Hepburn. This was way fun.

Now I have to tell you I think my DH would think I was Batman too. That one made me laugh so hard DH had to come over and see what all the commotion was about. How fun was that. Thank you so much for sharing. I have so enjoyed my visit this morning.

Have a beautiful day sweetie. Country hugs and much love, Sherry

This was a fun post to read, and I love the cartoon with the Hippo, especially. I ended up the same as you on the movie star test, but some of those answers have a tendency to depend on my mood, and I don't tend to do wine. I like wine coolers, but my meds preclude my drinking even the rate little bit I used to drink.

I'd seen the scrambled message before and know that idea behind why we can read it, but it is still interesting to find that you can as easily as you can.

Sallie (FullTime-Life) said...

Behind on my reading -- that's OK today is a great day for a laugh anyway.

This was all a fun post. I'm Grace Kelly too, but if I went back and changed one answer to get one more point I'd be Katherine Hepburn. OK with either one.

Color thing was fun and so were the jokes.
