Katie . . .

I'm It!
I've been tagged my Katie - a new friend - a young, beautiful, Christian girl. She said that I have to answer these questions... for her I will!

Day: Friday - the end of a long week and there is a couple of days to relax (?) lol.

Time Of Day: Around 9pm - every one is done with the daily activities, the GS is in bed, and I can take a little time for myself and watch some television and breathe!

Season: Winter, I love fall - the weather is getting cooler, the leaves are changing, and you know a fresh start is right around the corner.

Planet: Earth - because I'm here and it is the only planet we can live on.

Direction: I like where I am at - perfect weather. Beautiful seasons.

Tree: The White Pear Tree - they're so beautiful in spring.

Animal: A pug or a corgi - what else!

Musical Instrument: The drums. I always wanted to play Wipe Out!

Fruit: An orange - Oranges!

Food: Chocolate - If you consider it a food! lol

Color: Kelly Green is an awesome color. It's a happy color! It's an earthy color.

Book: The Bible is the most important book ever written, but I enjoy all books.

Song: You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban. Of course I love all sorts of music.

Movie: It's a Wonderful Life.

Flower: A tulip.

Facial Expression: A smile.

I'm tagging... well I am not going to tag, but what I want to know is - what is your favorite movie? I love to hear what other people's favorite movies are and try to see it if I haven't already - please share - or answer any of the above questions.

Happy Birthday Priscilla - wiki

Elvis and Priscilla met on September 13, 1959, during a party at Elvis' home in Bad Nauheim, Germany during his stay in the army. Despite her only being 14 years old at the time, she made a huge impression on Elvis with her much older appearance. Elvis allegedly regressed to acting like an "awkward, embarrassed" boy next door figure in front of her. However, by the end of the evening he had managed to compose himself.

Despite Priscilla's parents being angered by her late return home during that first meeting and insisting that she would never meet Elvis again, his eagerness for another meeting, and his promise never to bring her home late again led them to relent. The couple quickly began a romantic relationship, and were frequently together until Elvis left Germany in March 1960.

Priscilla and Elvis stayed in contact over the phone, though they would not see each other again until the summer of 1962, when Priscilla's parents agreed to let her visit for two weeks. It was during this visit, whilst on a trip to Las Vegas, that Priscilla first took amphetamines and sleeping pills to keep up with Elvis. After another visit at Christmas, Priscilla's parents finally let her move to America for good. Part of the agreement was that she would attend an all-girls' Catholic school (Immaculate Conception High School), and live with Elvis' father and his stepmother in a separate house on the Graceland estate until she graduated high school. Priscilla's parents allowed her to live at Graceland only if Elvis promised to eventually marry her.

Kind of odd story.

I loved all your answers, Sandie! This was fun. Okay, here are mine. I'll play...

If I were a...

Month: April, because that is my favorite month in Florida, and Easter with all of its color, meaning, and pageantry is my favorite holiday. Perfect weather and gorgeous flowers, sunshine and blue skies.

Day: Sunday, because it's the beginning of the new week when we take time and focus on what is important (the Lord). It's also the time when we loll around and take naps, read, and get ready for the week ahead.

Time Of Day: Dusk. It's still and everything is bathed in a beautiful glow.

Season: Spring, because I love the feel of the air, the signs everywhere of new growth, beautiful flowers, and the promise of the resurrection as Easter is celebrated then.

Planet: Saturn, because it is so pretty and has those rings around it!

Direction: South. I'm a sunshine girl, except in the brutal heat, and then I want to live in Canada, so I would have to say North! I'm the perfect candidate for being a snowbird. :-)

Tree: Oak, they remind me of home, but palms are happy things and remind me of fun.

Animal: This is tough because I'm crazy about animals in general. Wild animal: Fox Domestic Animal: Dog/Cat/Horse (can't decide) Jungle Animal: Monkey Bird: Flamingo (I saw some in the wild the other day!!!)

Musical Instrument: I would love to be a harpsichord provided someone like Mozart was playing me. I would also like to be a flute or a harp.

Fruit: A pineapple because they are probably the most nutritious, and the smell wonderful and taste even better.

Food: Chocolate. and yes, it is definitely a food! A divine one! ;-)

Color: Blue (I love the color Covington Blue from Benjamin Moore and also Paladian Blue, but I would probably be more of a Barely Teal)

Book: The Bible is the most important book ever written, but I enjoy all well written histories and biographies.

Song: "Fields of Gold"

Movie: "Pride and Prejudice," the version with Collin Firth and "Out of Africa," can't decide which.

Flower: A pink peony or white freesia!

Facial Expression: A smile.

My favorite movie is "Casablanca." I could see that a thousand more times. I'm with Marydon on pink and green and Saturday is my favorite day. Seasons...just about any time except winter. Can't pick a month, there's something I like in all of them, and flowers...buttercups and lilacs, and if someone sent me roses I wouldn't object at all. Hugs and good wishes!

I enjoyed learning more about you. I prayed for Elvis for MANY years... until he passed away. I wasn't crazy about him like some of his fans, but I felt like he was a hurting "brother" that I always needed to pray for. I never cared for his rock tunes, but loved the slower ones like "Memories," "Old Shep," etc.

I've got a lot of movies that I like... have you ever seen "A Walk in the Clouds" with Keanu Reeves? THAT is a really great movie.
