Getting my life back in order after vacation . . .

I am just about done with my work and I need another vacation! Whew coming back from two weeks - there's a lot to be done.

So my friend Jan - who I have known for 30 years from Chicago - moved out to LA - met me at the Groves Cheesecake Factory on our trip - sent me this. It was a nice lunch and we began just where we left off - just older and wiser. Anyway she sent me this YouTube and it is so beautiful - the pictures awesome - I hope you enjoy.

Happy Birthday to Jake Penny - wikipedia - it was slim pickins today for birthdays -

Penny was born in London, England to an American father and an Italian mother. He was reared in the state of Georgia.

He attended Marina High School in Huntington Beach, California, where he played football and basketball. Throughout his high school years, he maintained a low profile. He consistently avoided picture day. In each yearbook published during his enrollment at Marina High School, he is listed as "missing in action." Joe has a nephew called Micky Cox that has a wife called Lisa; they have three sons called Jake, Charlie and Oliver.

Okay do you know who this might be - lol?

He was the "Jake' in Jake and the Fatman television show. I used to like that show myself ....

It does take a while to get back in the 'swing' of things! You'll be fine - one day at a time!

Sandie, glad your home... Listen, pass on the word for me tomorrow. My best friend is having surgery at Windy Hill O/P Center at 8am on Friday and I will be with her...Her husband has macular degeneration and is legally blind so I am driving...Please remember me the next time all these wonderful Steel Magnolias get together...
