Pink Saturday

Be sure to check out all the Pinkie Ladies at Beverly's How Sweet The Sound.

Now how in the world did Chatty come up with pink babies? Three reasons: 1) I asked my GS when I said the word pink - what did he think of - GIRLS he said! 2) I have a new girl niece, she's beautiful, and she is my God Daughter, and 3) last but not least - babies - I'm going to become a grandma again in November - a boy!
No grand girls yet, but no matter I love the boys.

I ask you - how can you resist these pink baby girls?

Don't you just love them and want to hold them?
Such blue eyes.
Nice hat.

Babies are angels.

Know the saying sleep like a baby?

Oops how did that get in there - that's not a baby! lol
A baby bunny.

Which one is the real baby?

Now that is dressed up!

Then we go through the teenage years.

THEN WE BECOME PINKIES!

I am suggesting you check out Anne's blog at http://annesphamily.blogspot.com/ - she's a great gal.

Happy Birthday to St. Ignatius

"Teach us to give and not to count the cost." ~ St. Ignatius Loyola

Today is the Feast Day of St. Ignatius Loyola (1491-1556), a remarkable man of faith who changed the world with his dedication to God. He was born Inigo de Loyola in the mountains of Azpeitia, Spain around the same time Columbus discovered America.

"Find God in all things," St. Ignatius believed.

One thing I always see God in is BABIES!

Happy Pink Saturday, Sandie.

I am the grandmom of a wonderful grandson, too. He is 11 years old, and he, also, says that pink is for girls. I adore him.

LOVE your post! The pictures are fantastic! I fell in love with the angel baby! However, the teenage years scared me! HA! It's my nine year old though. They had some temporary hair color in their bathroom and she "accidently" spilled the blue all over the restroom. Ok...then when we were walking to check the mail I saw blue stripes in her hair. She said since she was cleaning the mess she thought she would just put some in her hair... THEN last night my 14 yr old was laughing about how she told the 9 yr old to clean the RR and not leave til it was finished because she knocked the bottle over when she was trying to be sneaky and make blue highlights!! Oh girls.... They've both been trying to get me to buy pink and I won't do it! My mother gave them the blue...she better NOT get them pink!
