Saturday Meditations - something to think about . . .

I'M BACK!

Feel that you have enough, and your sense of hunger will diminish. - Barbara Ann Kipfer

The secret art of inviting happiness The miraculous medicine of all diseases.

Just for today, do not anger.

Do not worry and be filled with gratitude.

Devote yourself to your work.

Be kind to people.

Every morning and evening, join your hands in prayer.

Love,

Sandie

What a cute doggie photo - that's not yours is it?

Good advice, Sandy - I try to live like that every day, but it does not come naturally, so one has to work on this every day and be mindful about ones thoughts.

If you are back, then why have I not seen an e-mail from you?

Glad you made it back safely! I trust you had a good time at Disney World.

Hi Sandie! Love the quotes. It's true. We must make our own happiness. One way to do that is to fill our hearts with thankfulness. A constant attitude of gratitude paves the way to happiness. As Joel Osteen, evangelical preacher has said, discouragement cannot reside in a heart filled with gratitude. So so true.

And you, my friend, have a wonderful Saturday! Susan

The little dog is so cute! I love your quotes, you find ones that I haven't seen before. I collect all kinds of quotes for the prayer line that I run. I think the key for some of these things is the "just for today" part. Some are so filled with regrets from the past and worry over the future that they cannot really live in today. And truly, that is all we have. This very minute is our life, and every one is a precious gift
