"Life is lived forward, but understood backward. It is not until we are down the road and we stand on the mountain looking back through the valley that we can appreciate the terrain God has allowed us to scale.” Jill Savage

Fun Friday with a little help from my friends . . .

GOOD MORNING

SPIDER . . . YOU'LL SWEAR IT'S ALIVE (Are you afraid of spiders?)

Poke and prod the spider with your mouse, also 'grab' one of its legs with your mouse and drag it around the screen -- tell me it's not alive! You can watch him follow your pointer, too.

Also double tap the MOUSE and it leaves little bugs for the spider to eat. Watch the spider go after the bugs and eat them. Outstanding animation!

A good friend of mine served his time with the Marine Corps, then decided to become a school teacher, to help educate our children and deliver strong moral values in the process.

Before school started he unfortunately injured his back.

He was required to wear a plaster cast around the upper part of his body.

Fortunately, the cast fit under his shirt and wasn't even noticeable.

On the first day of class, he found himself assigned to the toughest students in the school.

Walking confidently into the rowdy classroom, he opened the window wide and sat down at his desk to start his lecture.

When a strong breeze made his tie flap, he took a stapler and stapled the tie to his chest.

He had no trouble with discipline that year...

If you obey all the rules you miss all the fun.
- Katherine Hepburn
Go out and have some fun today.

Good fun here today! I love the senior song titles. And Ella and I spent a good part of the morning playing with the spider, she loved to watch him eat! She still has me find your mid-December post so she can make the reindeer sing!

Hi Sandie....Fun, huh? Well, I haven't had too much fun today but just read your post and decided I'd better do at least ONE thing to have fun today. Just finished ironing. Now that's not fun! But I'll think of something. Thanks and have some fun yourself! Okay? Susan

Had to laugh about the tie being stapled to his chest. Just arrived in town this afternoon and what a complete mess it is..glad we missed the past few days. Made a stop to my Publix and there was NO meat, little cheese and they were just putting out fresh bread. It looked totally unreal. Praying your knee is doing better and whatever you do don't attempt to go out in this mess.

Here are some of mine:

The Temptations - Papa Has A Kidney Stone (and it ain't rolling...)

Rolling Stones - Start Me Up (please - the Scooter chair's running low on batteries)

The Beatles - All You Need is Love (and a little Viagra)

The Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive (literally)

The Doors - Hello I Love You (though I can't remember your name)

Hoping you're keeping your chin up with PT - at least that's something you can keep up without surgery!!

Hi Sandie! Love the doggie photos! I couldn't go and look at the spider, though! Ick! Love all the funny song titles, too! Sorry I haven't stopped by in so long. How've you been?

Pat MacKenzie said...

That spider was creepy! Not my favorite animal. However, the song remakes made me laugh out loud. Isn't it great to be a boomer! Our lives can be told in song. I especially liked "once, twice, three times to the bathroom".
