Saturday - Something to think about . . . .

Today's Diary Entry on my grateful journal:

"In everyone's life at some time,
our inner fire goes out.
It is then burst into flame by an encounter
with another human being.
We should all be thankful for those people
who rekindle the human spirit."
~ Albert Schweitzer

I think I am almost 'back' - whatever that means. And I really think a lot of it is because of all of you!

So thanks. THANKS I SAY AND I MEAN IT. You all have been so supportive and positive. You have written me and been there for me. I went through a couple days of tears and depression - wondering if I was ever going to be me again (?)

You accepted me - no matter what mood I was in and now I think I'm on the other side. I'm glad I had the surgery and I'm glad it's over. Still hobbling a bit and a little pain, but I think for the biggest part it's over. SO THANK YOU I SAY!

And now I want to Pay It Forward (I just watched that movie).

I think this guy is cute and cuddly. Reminds of of Disco - our dog. Another entry in my grateful journal - never been able to have a dog before due to allergies and then a miracle -

So thanks again for all your prayers and cares.

Chatty Sandie Crone

Sandie, since I am new to your blog, I will go back in time learn more. I knew you were having PT and I'm glad you are near the end of that. Stay strong and you will be "back" don't worry. Ann

I'm so glad the cloud of recovery is lifting and you're feeling a spark of normal again.

I love that quote at the beginning. You always find the best quotes, you know.

That movie, Pay It Forward, was really good. SO, SO SAD, though.

Sandie, I couldn't be happier to hear that you're doing better. I can't even imagine what an ordeal these past few weeks have been.

I'll take "you" any way I can - grumpy, happy, in pain, depressed, chatty - you name it, I just cherish my friendship with Sandie!

So happy about the miracle of Disco - learn from his unconditional love and joy!

GOD BLESS!

We can all find blessings, if only we'd be smart enough to look! You always do, so they're always there! Glad that you're up and at 'em again.

Well, I did not ever see you in a bad mood, even with all you went through! You kept us informed and at the same time did no whining! So you truly live up to your ideals even under fire, Sandie! Well done, I am proud of you!! Lots of us probably, including me, would be turning to our wonderful blog friends for comfort and help, you tried never to do that and didn't change a bit through the whole thing!

I'm glad you're starting to feel like "normal" again - that's a good sighn! You're welcome if my little, insignificant part had anything to do with it, but I'm glad for you, none-the-less... thanks for those cute photos!
