Cleaning for a Reason - Help For Women With Cancer
If you know any woman currently undergoing chemotherapy or treatment for any type of cancer, please pass the word to her that there is a cleaning service that provides FREE housecleaning - once per month for 4 months while she is in treatment.
All she has to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment. Cleaning for a Reason will have a participating maid service in her zip code area arrange for the service. This organization serves the entire USA and currently has 547 partners to help these women.
It's our job to pass the word and let them know that there are people out there that care. Be a blessing to someone and pass this information along.http://www.cleaningforareason.org/
You may not know someone going through chemo, but someone on your email list might. (Thank you Joyce and Cheri) Check it out on Snopes.
Love, Chatty

What a wonderful thing!
Good Morning, Sandie....I had heard of that group and think it's great people do things like that. As a matter of fact, I tried to contact them for my sister when my brother-in-law was dying from pancreatic cancer.
Unfortunately, they couldn't help because their stipulation was the woman they were helping was the one that had to be sick....not a spouse. Anyway, he has gone to the other side of life now.
Hope you have a happy day today, Sandie! Susan
What a wonderful service to help the women with cancer! I'll be sure to pass this on should I know of a woman with cancer in my area.
Have a Great Day!

When I found them last year, posted of the & put it on the sidebar, I was amazed at how few of us actually had heard of this service. It is marvelous, to say the least.

Hey Sandie...I had never heard of this until you had it on your blog! What a wonderful thing it is! My best friend Cathy has BC and isdoing very well with it! She has undergone her chemo and remains most positive! She actually has done MUCH better than me accepting it! Hugs for you today! Go Bears tomarrow! Ready for the big game? Our internet keeps going in and out so if you don't hear from me don't worry! I'll catch up with ya!
Such a great idea - it's all about serving, isn't it??
GOD BLESS!
That is wonderful Sandi.
Bless you for spreading the news!!!
I always remember as a little girl being cared for by my mother. She would change and make the bed fresh, fixing the room nicely and bring in a tray of cooked food. It makes you feel better when others care and the house looks nice. I do it for my girls whenever I go to their homes. My daughter is coming over shortly and bringing pizza. So great for people to care. xxx
Thanks Sandie, this is such a great thing, I wish I would have known two years ago when my friend was sick and going through chemo.
hugs, hope you're having a great weekend!
What a wonderful blessing that would be for those that need it! I will pass on the information! Thanks for helping to inform us about this service.
