SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN IN ATLANTA

Snow + Georgia = The Whole City is closed - no kidding. I think our schools might be closed all week! At least for a few days. We can't get out of our driveway or our subdivision. The poor dog is in shock! So I'll be in the next few days with everyone else. (?) It's been declared a state of emergency here.

So here's a little fun:

Dear Sandie...I can hardly BELIEVE you are having such weather in Georgia. Holy Smokes! If it were New England, I could believe it but Georgia? Yikes.

You must all be little frozen peaches. Keep safe. Whatever you do, DON'T go outside with your newly replace knee.

Keep us posted how you all are doing. Susan

Hysterical at this one! It just kept getting better. I didn't think he could top "Rogaine" until he started singing "Jello".

Ooops. Laughing again.

The husband is snowbound in Atlanta too. If you see an annoyed businessman in a black Camry, wave hello for me.

Hope you're not suffering additional knee ache in this cold!

We had 14 inches fall over the weekend. It'll be the end of the week before the streets are plowed but nothing ever shuts down here when it snows - school, stores, everything's open. I haven't left the house since Friday though. It's minus 30C here, which would be about 20below zero F. At least we don't have the freezing rain. Snuggle up and enjoy.

This guy is a SCREAM!! We are to get the snow tonight and I've made several grocery store runs by now for what will probably amount to nothing.

Stay safe and warm! You've got worse weather than SE Michigan. The weather pattern is crazy lately.

Love the Old Rock Stars clip!

I'm thinking that this cold weather CANNOT be good for your knee - is it worsening the pain? Does it let you play hooky from PT? :)

Speaking of aging rock stars - have you seen that Steven Tyler of Aerosmith is a new judge on American Idol? WHAT has he done to his face???

So, what do you have - 1/2 inch of snow? LOL! You should live in MICHIGAN - you AND your little dog would be in shock! Stay warm, sweetie!

I've been thinking of you watching the weather. Guess it's a good time to be in the house as you complete your recovery. My granddaughter said Charleston is pretty much closed down too!

Stay warm and dry.
