Wednesday - Hump Day - Valentines - Birthday

Disco the day after all that chocolate - looks a little warn out - and I am today - he peed in my daughter's bed - so for her birthday I am doing all the sheets today and hubby went to laundry mat to do the bedspread. I hope it is all cleared.

Okay - On to Monday - The five amigos from Blogland who have become dear friends: Linda, Sue, Denise -we are trying to talk her into doing a blog, Rose, and me. We went to Smokey Bones and had lunch - not only did we exchange Valentine's - they gave me a birthday party too!

Here is all my Valentine Loot - and I gave hubby a photo cube so now that he is retired he can sell, sell, sell, on EBay. Obviously we need to learn to use it better - but I was in a hurry.

Sue made me a chocolate cake - made me - chocolate inside and out and white chocolate on top! See that is goofy Chatty grinning at how she is going to eat this cake. I look whipped out and that cake is just what I am going to need to perk myself back up - and more make up!

Chatty loving that cake!

It was yummy - I can attest to that as well as the group here - thank you Sue!

Who says when you get 'older' you can't have fun?

Maybe Disco peed the bed because of all the chocolate? Oh, the cake looks so good!!! We have a group of seniors ladies in our church called The Five Amigos!!! Isn't that such a coincidence! When you say photo cube, I think of the square acrylic thing that you put pictures on all sides and put on your end table. But you must be talking about a different kind of photo cube. Can't wait to see the birthday girl pictures!!! And to hear all about the day!

so neat you have a group of friends like that Sandie that get together and do things and blog too (or at least most of them blog :) That was a very nice looking cake! I bet it tasted delicious. Disco did look a bit tuckered out; probably coming down from the "sugar high" of the chocolate. Good idea to sell things on eBay; I did that for a bit (and books on Amazon, it was fun; but no time now :)

enjoy Thursday!

You ARE going to share some of that cake, aren't you? It looks delicious, and I think your smile is one of those "anticipating a sugar high" grins!

Disco is adorable - Marty sleeps like that, too. I can't understand how they love to sleep in the most uncomfortable positions!!

Love your friends - it's good to have people to get into trouble with!! And for the record, it's a good thing I'm out here in California - if we lived any closer, there would be some BIG shenanigans!

xoxo to you :)

Okay...I'm confused. When is/was your birthday?? I really must write all these birthdays somewhere...where I won't lose them!

Sue said...

Sorry to have everyone think that they missed your birthday!!....you should have told them that we celebrated early...glad you liked the cake...and I love how we were referred to as your friends in the flesh.....That's a whole lot of flesh my friend....I would once again use my favorite reference to us as "The Real fat Housewives of Cobb County"....but I'm not sure if Rose and Linda are in our county??
But it would make for a great new reality show....they could just follow us all around eating....

Love you blog! I especially love this little mouse that says "God Bless My Online Friends." It's adorable!
