Your son and daughter are very beautiful too, just like you, beautiful friend, Sandie. At times, we may hide behind the camera, yet we should rather glow instead.

My son is in DC this week and he was at a Military place and did a search so we were doing some the other night. I went over and did the search you have and my FIL came right up. Isn't it amazing what you can find?

It is hard to keep track of who your followers are. To be frank I read more blogs than the number of followers I may have.

Love ancestry.com! My follower lists disappears all the time on both of my blogs- it's just another Blogger quirk I think.

I have never seen that website, Sandie and will check it out as that was my parent's era. I had an uncle who served and my dad was part of The Manhattan Project during that time. Ann

Your blog looks very nice. You are a very brave lady for trying out the "new" stuff. I HATE "new", "improved", "updated" or any other words that mean I will have to press a button and puff- everything may be gone.

Yea with the brussel sprouts recipe coming Monday!

This is a great service, Sandie, about the free access from ancestory.com. I remember my mom talking about when they heard the news of Pearl Harbor and the war years.

I'm your newest follower!!

My husband got hooked on Ancestry.com two years ago when I had surgery. He stayed home to take care of me and spent his time while I slept searching for distant family members. Even though I tease him about it, it really is a great resource, and very interesting.

Blessings,
Christa

However, I'll pass on the recipe for the brussels sprouts. Sorry, just can't stand those little guys...

Like I said the other day - make it with chocolate, and I MIGHT just give them a try...
