Thursday - Let's Hug today!
SPEND CHRISTMAS WITH JESUS (this is only a couple minutes long.)
“Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm. ” Abraham Lincoln
Thanks for the video. It is so easy to get sidetracked by all the glitter, and hype and forget or at least put the true meaning of Christmas--the birth of our Redeemer--to the back of our minds.
Loved the quote, and the video should serve as another reminder to all of us what Christmas should really be about. Thanks for keeping us all in line my friend!
I like the Abe Lincoln quote also.. Sometimes I am too wishy washy....
Speaking of Abe Lincoln, I have a blog friend whose real name is Abraham Lincoln. He tried to sign up on Facebook using his real name (which you are supposed to do I think).. Facebook wouldn't let him do that because they thought he was using a fake name... Funny, huh? I told him to show them his birth certificate....
Good Morning, Sandie!! Yes!! Jesus is the real reason for the season. Christmas is the celebration of Christ's birth. We -Christians- should concentrate in praying and praising Jesus during Christmas and all year round. Jesus is our dear Lord and Savior, our fortress, and our best rock of salvation. Praise the Lord! Thank you for reminding this in your wonderful post, Sandie!! Thank you also for coming over to my journals blog and posting your wonderful comments, sweet friend!! God bless you in every step of the way, Sandie, and those you love!! You see, sometimes, American people may get sick while Overseas, so that they might turn into troubles. I think, Americans should always stay closer to the USA borders, in order to be safe and avoid health issues being Overseas. Great Post!! Merry Christmas, Sandie and all your beloved ones!! Love in Christ, Poet Starry Dawn.
I loved your quote. My friend once told me to stand in there because she knew on Whom I was standing. It is much better to stand than to hang in there.

I LOVE that quote! In our current Bible study, we're talking quite a bit about the difference between standing there and standing FIRM.
Now, to watch the video.

I love the quote by Abraham Lincoln. It is so true we need to stand firm for those things that are important to us.
Happy Thursday Chatty. My boys have been sick, and last night we lost power all night, but it came back on an hour ago, so things are looking up! :-)
