Happy Valentine's Day! I just finished making cake balls for dessert. (We never go out on Valentine's Day or Mother's Day...two days I'd much rather spend at home than waiting in a restaurant!) I'd never made them before and wanted to give it a try. We'll have steak cooked out on the grill tonight. And I bought my husband a brand new trash can with wheels so he can wheel the trash to the curb. How's that for romantic?

Hmmm...I got a gift card that I am very happy with, and it will last a lot longer than flowers. If I was 30 years younger I would probably prefer flowers.

Good Sandie! I liked all your love notes. The fifth graders in love will be my favorites. I was in love in the first grade. We almost had an affair.
Also you're right on the calorie free candy. Candy has no calories just once in a while. Valentine's Day is one. :)
