Leap Day

Madsnapper and Chatty Crone - by Madsnapper - can you believe she has us smoking?

Now this is one of the big reasons I am so far behind (but it sure was worth it).

Now from left to right - this is Linda at A La Carte - Rose at A Santa Makers Journey - Denise who we are still trying to talk into blogging (she's Sue's best friend) - Cheri from Chez Cheri - and then Sue from Rue-Mouffetard .

Okay - this was what I did yesterday - you will have to go over to Sue's blog and check it out. And yes I am behind in reading and answering blogs and emails - sorry!
HAHA

Now here are my gifts -

Now I'm going to play a game - Pick the correct girl with the correct gift and the one closest wins a prize. Not sure what yet. And no the five girls can't play.
And know I love them all!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a plan and a place for each... THANK YOU FRIENDS!

And no party is complete for us without food.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY!

Those desserts look so good and decadent, and here I sit with a bowl of grapes and looking forward to my cut-up apple this afternoon. I can tell you, although healthy and tasty, fruit can not come close to bringing the joy that you can get with a spoonful of chocolate and whipped cream.

I love that you had DESSERT!!
So many times a group of women won't order dessert.
I couldn't begin to figure out which gift was which, but they are all lovely and you are obviously well-loved!!

Did Sandra really make that for you? What rascals you are, I hope your parents don't get ahold of you! Happy Birthday!!!! It's a butterfly theme, and you got awesome gifts, these girls have GOOD TASTE!! So many gifts to match up, I won't even try, I always get these things wrong. Is the beautiful butterfly collage made by your friend?

You lot certainly know how to have a great time! I wouldn't know where to start with the guessing, so I'm going to leave it to others who might know some of the gals from reading their blogs - I just know two of them.

Oh Sandie, sounds like you girls had a BLAST. You are so lucky to have other bloggers nearby to go out with. I'd do anything to have a blog buddy to do things with...go shopping, to concerts, etc. Alas, no such luck.

Anyway, sounded like soooo much fun. And ohhhhhh, that CHEESECAKE. yum yum yum yum yum Susan

Looks like you all had a wonderful time. Which is the way one hopes birthday parties will go.

As for leap days, we need one of those every once in a while to keep up with our crone-ology. Or something like that.

This sounds like just what the doctor ordered. How fun to spend the day with blogging ladies plus one hopeful recruit.

I don't know the ladies enough to venture a good guess, but I want to know who gave you that wonderful frame for your daughter and grandson's picture. I love that! They were all just as nice as can be.

That looked like lots of fun Sandie! Don't worry about catching up. You deserve a break now and again! I've been preoccupied with myself lately and I'm not on top of my blogging at all.

You got such wonderful gifts too! I have no idea who gave you what so I won't even try! lol

Hugs,
Angela
