Mondays recipe and positive start to the week . . .

Did you watch the super bowl last night? What do you think about the commercials?

What did you have to eat?

Well on to Valentine's Day.

My friend Jenn from Jenn's Three Graces sent this to me. I think it is a great recipe to make with the kidlets or for Valentines. And she got the recipe from Northern Cottage. So thank you and thank you.

All you need are mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, crescent rolls. Bake and your done. How easy is that?

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

Not even ourselves - teehee.

Mmmm Crescent smores - I'll have to try those. I did not watch the Super Bowl, but did have a friend call me when half time started because I wanted to see Madonna :)

so now i need to figure out how to get the keys to ME away from me, since is it me that drives me crazy. i love the super bowl commercials and think football is as boring as watching paint dry. hubby watched it, i watched some of the commercials. most of the ones i liked were car commercials and all the ones with dogs.

Those look yummy!

I didn't watch much of the game, just a few bits and pieces as I ate dinner (chili), when I had dessert (cherry pie) and then the last minute of the game when we had homemade pepperoni bread.

Today Dad and I spent some time watching a few commercials on youtube. That was fun. Dog commercials are always the best.

yummy recipe I have made similar and love them. :) Go Giants!!!

I liked many of the commercials, but the half time show made me gag. Sorry, but I'm not a Madonna fan.

About the key=I think I've given it to a few too many people. LOL

Have a wonderful day, Sandie. (hugs)

Yes, I watched the game. I liked the commercials and halftime show best. We didn't fix any snacks. That snack of yours looks like something my grandkids would like. Gonna have to give it a try.

I thought the commercials were extra "racey" this year. Sex sells everything. Hard to watch some of them with young children. We had black bean salsa, artichoke dip and pizza.

Delicious and easy- who could ask for more?

That looks so good! I'm definitely going to try this when my daughter comes home from college! She loves treats like these! Thanks!

That's the kind of recipe I can work with! Thanks. I missed the Super Bowl this year and watched a movie. Have a lovely week, Sandie.

Hmmmm...none of the commercials really struck my fancy this year. I guess the Detroit one for Chrysler (I think it was Chrysler anyway) was kind of inspiring. I liked their commercial last year. It made me want to root for Detroit.

The chocolate chip and marshmallow recipe sounds wonderful--especially for a candy lover like me! And that final quote is a real keeper! Thanks for the wisdom.

That recipe looks like a yummy snack. Enjoying your "sayings."

I'm not in to football so I didn't watch the super bowl. I am in to chocolate though and that little goodie looks delicious

This recipe is kind of a non recipe, perfect for me!!! I will also add, don't let anyone drive you crazy when it's within walking distance!

Oh, something easy I can make. Thanks.

That is a very easy looking recipe Sandie! I watch the super bowl for the commercials only! lol There were some really good ones last night! lol

I was actually blogging during the super bowl. Shameless me.

Good recipe idea!
I liked Clint Eastwood for Chrysler, the VW ad with the dieting dog and my favorite was the Great Dane who bribes the man with Doritos.
Madonna looks great but I thought the show was mediocre at best.
Love the key advice but I think those who drive me crazy are guilty of stealing my keys. ;-)

Hi Sandie, We did watch the game/commercials and even the halftime show... My favorite commercial was the VW Bug one with the dog....

We stay away from the fattening chocolate stuff on Valentine's Day ---and will head out to do some hiking instead...

Hugs,
Betsy

We didn't watch the game, but played cards and ate pie. :) My son went to a Superbowl party and had a blast!
Never thought about not handing the keys out, I'll have to try that.
Hope you're having a great week!

Love the recipe. I would never have thought of it.

And that quote at the end is priceless.

BTW, I just read the bullying post, and I am one hot blogger. That really ticks me off.

I will add to my prayers about his school (and I AM praying) that God provides manna from heaven in the form of resources for him to go to the perfect place for him.

And I am going to be praying that he defines himself correctly and through God's eyes and not anyone else's eyes.

Still ticked...
