Teacher:
My five-year old students are learning to read. Yesterday one of them pointed at a picture in a zoo book and said, "Look at this! It's a frickin' elephant!" I took a deep breath, then asked..."What did you call it?" "It's a frickin' elephant! It says so on the picture!" And so it does... (scroll on down) " A f r i c a n Elephant " Hooked on phonics! Ain't it wonderful?

A THOUGHT FROM MAXINE - BE CAREFUL
I was in Starbucks recently when I suddenly realized I desperately needed to pass gas. The music was really loud so I timed it with the beat of the music.
After a couple of songs I started to feel better. I finished my coffee and noticed that everyone was staring at me…
And suddenly I remembered I was listening to my iPod
…and how was your day?
That's what happens when old people start using technology !

Couldn't imagine how it was a frickin Elephant LOL Now that was a tough test and I have to confess...I failed.
i wish i had thought of that sign when my kids were teens.

Cute video! We scored a 23 on the test. More difficult than I imagined. Love the note left by a mom! Maybe that would get my teen to clean his room! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I got a 23 on the test...it said I passed, so that's a relief. (I thought I read initially 24 was passing, but it passed me.)
That was funny about the ipod. Funny as long as it NEVER happens to me!
My hubby and I loved the quickstep video of Mrs. Klein. My husband used to be a ballroom dancer and taught. So he really enjoyed this clip. thanks for getting us to smile. take care.

Here I was going along, mentally patting myself on the back ... then found my score was only 19! Reading the answers I could just kick myself ... but it was great fun and I'm "sharing the pain" with friends and family.
