What state are you from and did you find out something interesting?

I want to tell you some good news for a change.  My husband went to the doctor today having had a CT scan first.  The doctor was amazed, but the blood on both sides was gone!  Totally.  He said this was an amazing case because he was so young and there was no reason why, how, or if it could or would happen again - and that at first the doctors had wanted to operate on him.

Do you remember how mad I was when he was dismissed from the hospital by his doctors because he had to wait until the aspirin was out of his system?

Why did I doubt things?  Why didn't I believe that God knew what he was doing?  I have such a hard time letting go and believing HE will take care of things.

And - what if he had died?  What if he had to have the surgery?  Would this also have been the will of God?  I always wonder things like this.  I have no doubt in God - but I don't always understand HIS ways.  I do know this - I don't have to let the unexplainable ruin my believable.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY -  now men can think the same way - I just don't have a picture for you.
Thank you Sandra at Madsnapper.

Those are some fun facts! Being from the province of Saskatchewan, like your state of Arizona, we do not follow Daylight Savings Time ~ and that makes me happy! :)

Happy Thursday!

I'm from Illinois ... and unfortunately that other governor is also in jail. :-(

Praise God on the awesome news on your hubby!! And you're not alone in having difficulty in letting go and trusting God. I think I should have been in with the kids during VBS ... the theme was "trust in God".

Let me clarify ... it's not unfortunate that our former governor is in jail ... that's certainly where he belongs. It's just unfortunate because it's so very embarrassing.

ILLINOIS....................... Has a Governor in jail, one pending jail, &

Correction on this fun fact, which by the way is not a fun fact for us.
All governors are now in jail and accounted for. :-)

That is amazing news about your husband! Thank you, Lord!

And I am from Texas, and between your state and mine, I guess we take the blame from so many for the obesity problem, since they blame much of it on sodas.

Interesting facts that you shared. I am having a problem believing that Kentucky Fried Chicken was started in UTAH?! LOL I thought it was a southern thing.

Hi Sandie....Didn't know the fig newton was named after Newton, MA. See? Learn something new every day.

SOOOOO glad to hear the good news about your hubs. Gosh, if we could just POUND patience and total reliance on the Lord into our brains, we'd be doing ourselves a favor, doncha think? I'm like you. I spazz out and worry and get all flustered. In the meantime, He takes the reigns and turns everything into good.

Take care and hope you are having a good, good day. How could it be otherwise with such good medical news? Susan

About Alaska: John's brother-in-law not only had his pilot's licence, he had the whole air plane in his yard. Wasn't flyable of course. He is dead now and I'm sure that was the first thing John's sister got rid of. lol

Amazing facts! My husband's brother lives in Alaska and they do NOT have their pilot's licenses, but I wouldn't put it passed them to try soon! Great news about your hubby! And I think like you also when hard times come and it's hard sometimes to wrap our brain around all the questions of "Why?" and "What if?" All I can say is we have to continue to trust the Lord and know that His will is perfect. A hard concept to understand when you're going through things and are hurting. I'm "stealing" your photo of the body beautiful, okay?? :) Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Sandie,

Great news about your husband!!!

Yes N.J. is the only state where you could shop till you drop and never go to the same store twice. Well almost...... lol

We also import the cola leaves to make Coca-Cola right here in Maywood N.J. Then it's sent to Georgia!

That is wonderful news about your husband Sandie! So glad the surgery got postponed.

I love your trivia.

I grew up in GA, I did a report on John Pemberton for a GA history class in high school.

Then I moved to Alaska. That is so true. My husband has a pilots license. I know of a neighborhood in Anchorage that has a runway in the backyard of the houses.

To California, an expensive place to live.

Then we moved to OR. We have been to a few of those ghost towns.

Now we live in WA state. Our little town on the other side of the state from Seattle has 3 colleges.

I don't know if you'll even see this because you posted it so many days ago. I have been AWOL from my computer.

That's just downright quotable.

Now... go have a Coke and smile!!
