God's Accuracy
Fascinating, I've never given most of this a thought!!!!
God's accuracy may be observed in the hatching of eggs.
For example:
-the eggs of the potato bug hatch in 7 days;
-those of the canary in 14 days;
-those of the barnyard hen in 21 days;
-The eggs of ducks and geese hatch in 28 days;
-those of the mallard in 35 days;
-The eggs of the parrot and the ostrich hatch in 42 days.
(Notice, they are all divisible by seven, the number of days in a week!)
God's wisdom is seen in the making of an elephant... The four legs of this great beast all bend forward in the same direction.. No other quadruped is so made. God planned that this animal would have a huge body, too large to live on two legs... For this reason He gave it four fulcrums so that it can rise from the ground easily.
The horse rises from the ground on its two front legs first.
A cow rises from the ground with its two hind legs first.
How wise the Lord is in all His works of creation!
God's wisdom is revealed in His arrangement of sections and segments, as
well as in the number of grains.
-Each watermelon has an even number of stripes on the rind.
-Each orange has an even number of segments.
-Each ear of corn has an even number of rows.
-Each stalk of wheat has an even number of grains.
-Every bunch of bananas has on its lowest row an even number of bananas,
and each row decreases by one, so that one row has an even number and
the next row an odd number.
-The waves of the sea roll in on shore twenty-six to the minute in all
kinds of weather.
All grains are found in even numbers on the stalks, and the Lord
specified thirty fold, sixty fold, and a hundred fold - all even numbers.
God has caused the flowers to blossom at certain specified times during
the day, so that Linnaeus, the great botanist, once said that if he had
a conservatory containing the right kind of soil, moisture and
temperature, he could tell the time of day or night by the flowers that
were open and those that were closed!
The lives of each of you may be ordered by the Lord in a beautiful way
for His glory, if you will only entrust Him with your life. If you try
to regulate your own life, it will only be a mess and a failure..
Only the One Who made the brain and the heart can successfully guide
them to a profitable end.
I HOPE YOU FOUND THAT AS FASCINATING AS I DID
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
Love, Chatty Crone

I love our Creator. He is so Perfect!Thanks for sharing the tidbits because I greatly adore His creation. Almost as much as Him. But just ALMOST because it reflects Him...but is NOT Him. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me how people can believe this world just randomly happened when faced with facts like these. Thanks for sharing them...I didn't know some of them.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely amazing facts. HE is so good!
ReplyDeletefirst let me say if my wall looks like that i will NOT cross it. LOL
ReplyDeletei love all the info, and i went outside before i commented and counted our bananas.
8 on the first row, 7 on the second. of course we only have 2 rows but that proves the banana thing. this info is truly amazing.
God's accuracy is absolutely awesome! I loved reading all those facts. Who could ever doubt that ? It's a wonderful quiet Sunday morning here. Everyone appears to still be sleeping. We got to enjoy some fireworks here as we sat around a campfire last evening. No I don't own a campground, we all rent the sites we park our campers on. It's a big place with about 350 sites in it. A fishing lake, a pool and a playground for the kids are shared by all. Today should be a pretty day but again hot. I'm thanking God today for being able to enjoy it all. Hope your Sunday is a wonderful one!
ReplyDeleteThe facts are very fascinating!
ReplyDeleteNothing is left to chance with our God! He has a purpose for everything He does. Ans yes, He does order our lives...I take great comfort in that truth! Thanks for sharing...very encouraging! :-)
ReplyDeleteWow,Sandie. Talk about order in the universe. Ooooo weeeee. If we could just LET Him be in charge of our lives, we'd be so much better off. Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful Sunday. Susan
ReplyDeleteAmazing facts. Thanks for sharing that.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it is very hard to believe in so many 'CO INCIDENTS' for me. Seems everything is planned!

This is very cool! What an organized, methodical God we have! Love it! You must have done a LOT of research to find all this. :-)
ReplyDeleteI've been sitting here reading all this good stuff to my daughter and hubby.....Who would have ever thought a banana bunch would have even and odd rows.
ReplyDeleteThat is fascinating and you know that I am now going to have to count rows of corn on the ear and other such stuff :)
ReplyDeleteHow totally cool this is- I'm sharing it with all the math teachers in my life~
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome example of our Creator! I love the bridge too! Many blessings!
ReplyDeleteThis was a fascinating read. We can trust that our God has everything under control.
ReplyDeleteSandie, I am am impressed with all this knowledge!....:)JP

ReplyDeleteSo from Canada, Happy Canada Day, eh?
You celebrate Independence Day in three days. Good wishes in advance!
I think we missed the War of 1812, but we've made up over that "misunderstanding."
I have never noticed how a cow gets up a certain way but I do know they don't have teeth in top in the front. Humm I wonder why that is.
ReplyDeleteThis was especially beautiful this week Sandie! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat little bit of trivia about the eggs!!
ReplyDeleteDear Sandie, You never cease to amaze. This was fascinating and thoughtful. Blessings dear. Catherine xo
ReplyDeleteMy pastor would love these facts!

Oh my goodness, but this was so good a read. I never realized half this stuff. The watermelon stripes and the way a banana bunch grows on a tree...my word, incredible info.
ReplyDeleteThis wasn't just fascinating, Sandie, it was literally one of those heart thumping kinds of things to read. What an amazing Creator we have. Just plain AMAZING.
ReplyDeleteNothing is random. Nothing at all.
Very interesting facts that scream order and deny random.
ReplyDeleteI try to be a bridge builder and not a wall builder but sometimes we forget the big picture. Good reminder, thanks.
What interesting info. So hard to understand how people can deny His existence when they see the order and beauty of His creation.
