Tuesdays Tails

Okay here we are on Tuesday.  It was Disco's birthday last week or at least the one we made up for him - he was a rescue dog. Now when we were in Roswell last week - we bought him a miniature cake . It was about two inches across and one one and a half tall.  But it does look like a cake.

Now he was thrilled!  Grandson had him up on the table (we were not happy) and Disco took the treat and did not have any intention of sharing.

We got him off the table and he went to grandpa's chair and made a nice mess there.  lol

Okay a duck is an animal - Donald Duck - the  first week of summer daughter and  grandson went on a cruise and to Disney.  This was Disney of course.

And this was on the cruise - swimming with the dolphins - a chance of a life time.  The dolphin kissed him.  They had a great time.  My daughter tries to take him on a vacation every summer.

And now to end with a couple of my bird pictures:

And his flamingo and mine.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:

Okay maybe you are not a great singer - doesn't mean you shouldn't sing.  And sing with passion.  And if you laugh, laugh with passion, if you dance, dance with passion, if you live, live with some passion.
Feel it - sense it - live it - enjoy it - let go of  yourself - hear it - look at it - smell it - taste it.  Sure not all the time - no one can do that - but can't you do it once a day?

  1. That look on his face shows he's not sharing his cake with anyone! The cruise sounded wonderful- so glad they got to go~

  2. I cannot carry a tune, but that doesn't stop me from singing along with the radio - with passion, too, I might add! ;-)

I used to have a bird feeder and need to get another one, I think ... I miss seeing the birds at the feeder.

  3. Funny you should mention singing. I was singing coming up the road yesterday and again this morning as I was getting the car ready to tow!!! And YEP..I cannot sing!!!
Love the pictures of Disco but especially the grandson and being kissed by the dolphin, not quite as impressive as when he flew the plane, but IMPRESSIVE!
Disco and birthday cake! HAHAHAHAHA Good on you.
Love from Virginia as we leave...

  4. You made up a birthday for Disco...
    That's just cute to me.

It looks like the vacation was just wonderful! I am ashamed to admit that I would be too chicken to swim with dolphins. How silly is that?

I am, however, not afraid to sing out with passion and make a fool of myself in church. That should count for something.

  6. When our guys seine for shrimp at the beach, the dolphins come along side to try to get to their catch. They have actually torn the net! They aren't too cute when they do that!! :-) Glad your grandson had fun!

Aww, that's cute that you celebrate Disco's birthday. That treat looks yummy! Well, if you are a dog of course...

We never really celebrated our dog's birthdays aside from giving them extra pats and hugs and kisses...and maybe a few extra table scraps.

I sing too when I'm alone. But not as much as I used to before the New Hampshire choir director told me that I had a bad ear and that he didn't want me in his choir. I had been in the choir and the men's chorus at our old church in El Paso.
