“There
are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.”
One of my most favorite writer's in my life is - C.S. Lewis - and he said that. And I believe what he says - in fact I'm banking my whole life on that.

Love the quote, and oh, I'm banking on it too, as my 50th birthday approaches closer and closer. I think I hated my 40th, but while I STILL don't LOVE the idea of entering my fifties, I've at least progressed to mixed feelings now! (0; Have a great day! ((hugs)) ~tina
have a sweet day!

Very cool! I'm sitting in a public place right now so I typed someone else's address to see it. Why, I do not know. LOL
What happened to your baby elephant videos? Ella is coming over and I can't find them anywhere. Did you take them off? Why?
It's been a good Wednesday morning here. I got to visit with my newest little granddaughter. The sun came out and even though it's chilly it is a great day! Hope your Wednesday is a wonderful one!
Happy Wednesday to you my friend. Just home from work here, it's cold outside brrrr. Warming to come in here :) Big hugs x
The globe thing is sooo neat. Thanks, Paula
love the horse pic and also the quote from Mr. Lewis. Thanks for sharing. My google map pic in the globe made us laugh, but it is attached to good cause. Many blessings! Shana
That is a quote worth pondering...Thanks for the pink!
The decorations and the horse are neat, Sandie.
I like C.S. Lewis but haven't read nearly enough of his books. Have you read the Screwtape Letters? It is one you can pick up whenever you want a pick-me-up little lecture.
..
I got the address thingy in an e-mail yesterday and love it!
so almost a flash mob in pink... headed to the snow globe
I did both the new home and the old one! Amazing! Thanks Sandie, I'm back visiting the blogs again. Ann
I enjoyed the song, have a great Christmas.
Merle......

Great quote ! Im going to go try the snow globe ! Hope your well and happy
fun to see our house in the globe!!!
c.s. lewis has amazing insight...
All those girls look so beautiful and fresh. Loved their dresses and shoes. All the onlookers were dressed in warm clothes in comparison. AND... C. S. Lewis was a wise man wasn't he... So good. xxx
Pretty mall.
My cousin sent me that snow globe thingy the other day... pretty neat!
Yes... I believe the best is yet to come!
I like the snow globe with the donation to help the homeless. I too agree with what C.S. Lewis said. I don't think we can even imagine the things God has ahead of us in heaven (and for the rest of our lives) but it is always good if he is in control!
betty
Might be the only snow we see in that snow globe! I might have to try that. :)
I loved all of it, Sandy, and I totally agree with CS Leiws.
Years ago, when I was young and homesick, I was praying and telling the Lord (like Dorothy), "I want to go home, God, I want to go home." We were away from our families, and I missed them terribly. Then, very quietly, the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said, "Home is not behind, Sheila, home is ahead!" I will never forget that moment. It made me more determined than ever to "press on toward the prize in Christ Jesus" as Paul says. I might have mentioned this to you already, but that quote really drove this home again.
XO,
Sheila
Love the snowglobe, that is so cool. I also love that commercial, I saw it last Christmas and posted it. Love, Debby

It was fun to see my house in the snowglobe!
I believe...cute.
I take lots of pics to get a good one many times! Someone sent me "your house in a snow globe " too--I haven't done it yet. I love the quote, and I do so hope it is true!!!! Loved scrolling through several of your posts--I am SO BEHIND on getting around to others' blogs these days. I always appreciate your "visits" and your nice comments. Mickie :)
Thanks for the snow globe trick! This is the only time I've ever or will ever see my house in snow. :) Love the quote!
did you have dogs on here earlier??
I first saw the snowglobe on facebook last week. It was so much fun to play. I wondered if the picture would change this time. Nope. But it was fun again, nevertheless.
You sure know how to put me in the Christmas spirit. Christmas in Pink was fantastic. How could anyone not love it.
BlessingsSweetGirl
I love Christmas and I believe thanks for the reminder that it is a wonderful time of year
That snowball thingie is cool. I typed in addresses from long ago, too, and came up with a whole history of family. rofl
I DO BELIEVE.
CS Lewis - a wise man.
I need to be reminded of that thought by C.S. Lewis. ;-)
I love that snow globe! ;-)
C.S. Lewis is very wise indeed. I will give the snow globe a try. I live in a apartment,,,it may be interesting. LOL Also want to say I will ask Sue about the jeans when I talk to her.:)
I just loved the snow globe thing.
I really like C.S. Lewis, too, and that is a great reminder. I hope to try to snow globe thing. Don't know if Google Earth has been out so far this way, though :)
I hope to get a chance to have Robert send you an email with the vid he made to show at our church for Christmas. He would have to send it from the church's high speed internet, though. I'll try to email you about it soon.
Love the snow globe - sent that link to my friends!!! Great post!
Oh Sandie, I just love the snowglobe effect!
Without fail, each November I grow wistful remembering the carefree, simpler holidays of my youth. So yes, it was THAT address I entered.... and smiled recalling “the house that built me.” :)
