We finally got some of the beautiful white stuff last night and today, more expected. I love it.
Praying you pass through these storms in His peace which passes all understanding.

Crazy weather, isn't it???? So you had some snow... That's cool!!!!!! Speaking of cool, it's been darn COLD up here today. We got 2 inches of snow --and high winds and cold, cold temps... Love seeing the snow--but don't care for those cold winds...

It is supposed to warm up this weekend though ---just in time for George and I to celebrate his birthday...

Hugs,
Betsy

Love the pictures of your SPRING, I like the dual level deck. I like the frog catching those snow flakes.

I hope the storms do no damage and do drive the roots further...

Storms will always come, it is about how we weather them that counts.

Sorry abut the storms......I'm an expert at storms and weathering them.....with a small amount of sanity left. Hope this storm is short lived!

Hope all is well Sandie- and hope your spring gets here soon...

Standing here in the strong root line with you, Sandie.

And you nailed the season here very well in these photos. I was just telling my DC daughter that we have a totally split personality going on down here this year. The azaleas keep trying to bloom and then getting zapped by another blow of winter.

What a mixture you have there. Here everything is still quite frozen and nothing blooming but we may warm up this weekend so things may just start growing here. No snow for us. Just cold and sunny.

Lovely photos; so glad that you got to see some of the white powdery stuff.
The blossoms are here in full swing (South Georgia)...and the pollen is too.
Have a beautiful week!

Yes, it is hard to tell here in GA...whether it is winter or spring! But it happens almost every year. Cold nights, chilly windy days, but my dogwood tree is budding! :-)

I love that quote fom Dolly Parton. I've never heard it before.

I hope you are okay?

Merlesworld said...

This is unusual post for you, the pictures reflect a quieter mood has winter gone on a bit to long don't worry Spring is coming.

Just keep repeating that quote by Dolly. So true, but wish you could have some clear weather soon! Roots are good, but sometimes they make us inflexible. Hang in there Sandie. Ann

Hello Sandie,
I dont know about Georgian weather. One thing for sure that I can tell you, is that here in Portugal we are having awful weather. Seems winter just doesnt want to leave. We have had non stop rain for days and days. High winds too. My garden is flooded.

Looks like your having both! Snow, you don't need that at all.

sometimes there are storms in life where we just have to dig our roots deeper to be able to pull through. Over here it's raining again, no snow this winter :( well I had some of it when I was home in Sweden.
Big hugs to you xx

I'm certainly ready for spring, but we still have most of the 9 inches of snow we got last Monday. Rain today. What a mess that will make!
