Fun Friday with a little help from my friends

Why isn't the number 11 pronounced onety-one?
Thank you Susan at Writing From the Heart.

this will bring a really big smile to your face!

I LOVE THIS WOMAN

An elderly lady was standing at the railing of the cruise ship holding her hat tight so that it would not blow away in the wind. A gentleman approached her and said, "Pardon me, madam.. I do not intend to be forward but did you know that your dress is blowing up in this high wind?"

"Yes, I know," said the lady. "I need both my hands to hold onto this hat." "But madam, you must know that you are not wearing any panties and your privates are exposed!" said the gentleman in earnest.

The woman looked down, then back up at the man and replied, "Sir, anything you see down there I've had for 75 years. I just got this hat yesterday!"

Students in an advanced Biology class were taking their mid-term exam. The last question was, 'Name seven advantages of Mother's Milk.’ The question was worth 70 points or none at all.

One student, in particular, was hard put to think of seven advantages.
However, he wrote:

1) It is perfect formula for the child.
2) It provides immunity against several diseases.
3) It is always the right temperature.
4) It is inexpensive.
5) It bonds the child to mother, and vice versa.
6) It is always available as needed.

And then the student was stuck. Finally, in desperation, just before the bell rang indicating the end of the test, he wrote:

7) It comes in two attractive containers and it's high enough off the ground where the cat can't get it.

He got an A.

Hey, having trouble reading the script again, but I enjoyed the ones I could read. You are too funny. And that little dog lying on his back looks just like my former little Min Pins who have long ago crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.

Hope you are having a good day. It is raining and raining here. All night long it poured, and it has slacked for a minute. We're slated to have this till Sunday, I think.

If you get two posts from me on your Google Reader, that's because I did two posts. Am having trouble with Google and had to erase the first one and post it again so that my comments would appear. I really goofed when I turned my comments off the other day. Now they are acting really flukey and turning themselves off by themselves BEFORE I post.

TGIF!

Oh man. The teaching class! To my shame, I have even taught our granddaughter to go tell grandpa he left the seat up and please don't do that anymore. ;-) Also laughed about the lady who didn't whine or nag.

I am sending the story of the benefits of breastfeeding to a young friend who regularly expresses her beliefs over this, even on FB.

Happy Friday to you and yours.

OH my GOSH!!!!! This classes for women is the funniest thing I have ever read on a blog in My WHOLE LIFE!!!!!!! I am still laughing and will continue to laugh all day. So today when I take a hot meal to my sick friend who just had surgery, she will think I have gone totally round the bend and am utterly unsympathetic.

Coming to Chatty for a visit is like a breath of fresh air. Always a great read. I get a daily chuckle or two and learn too. I love the variety.

Nice post today, Sandie. I've been fooling around today but decided I should try the new meme. It is a simple on but there are quite a few doing it.

First and last:
-- First, Why wouldn't the number 11 be pronounced onehundredty-one?
-- Last, Mrs. Jim does ALL of those things wrong. She needs your class. Are you going? (Sometimes she shops alone but is a lot slower then. Last night we were at our Woodlands Macy's. We spent three hours there and only bought the wedding present we came for.)

These are priceless. Love that the student got an "A" on the mother's milk. The 7th would've been Bud's FIRST in the list. rofl

And the first one you shared, reminded me of the number 1 and number 2 ---now, don't go on a tangent, it's NOT what you think!!

Hi Sandie,
Yes! I agree with Crystal regarding there is nothing better than a good laugh, for it's so healthy. I really enjoy reading good jokes you tell to your readers. The red wagon or red flier is so funny, but my preference goes to the lady on the boat with a hat being blown away by the wind along with her private parts...Ha ha ha!!...
Thank you, Sandie for replying to my letter! You made my day. I am glad you like my new poetry artwork. Telling you the truth, I do not update my blog so much lately, due to personal issues, but I still visit my dear friends' Blogs in Blogland.
Have a great weekend and an awesome week, my friend!
Warm Hugs & All the Best,
