ZIP CODES.....THIS IS NEAT!

Check out your zip code. You will not believe the information you will find there! Also check out other zip codes where you
might be traveling.  I checked mine and about 75% was true, but 25% was wrong.  Just have fun with it.

THE LAUGH:

I know you know what I mean!

THE LIFT:

Now I started a new Chatty Crone page on Facebook -
What my dream is - is to have a place we can kind of all meet - leave our joys, our funnies, our tears, our need of prayers, and out thoughts there.  So come on over and like it - and leave your 'footprint' there.  If you have a joke - or an inspiration - talk about the books you wrote - the paintings you draw - the photos you take - whatever - and we will become a community of hope.

The zip code thing was fun. As far as I could tell it was pretty accurate.

I heard some of that Zip Code info on a story about the anniversary of the Zip Code being used. It's interesting that people were very opposed to it when it first started being used-just too much trouble to have to add all those numbers. :)

Such great tips. Thought the penny trick was really fun. Can't wait to try it. Am I going to be on Candid Camera and people will jump out of the bushes and tell me what a sucker I am??? LOL

Hi Sandie...

Checked out my zip code. Some of it was right. Thanks!

I've never seen Essie polish but then, again, I never really looked for it. I think I'll copy those down, though, especially the long-lasting one. I'll bring my own polish next time I get a pedi! Susan

But I drive on the right! :D

And I have a post code not a zip!

Ha! I don't do Facebook!

I tried the zip code thing and it was fun and looked accurate. And you can rest assured that I am going to mark July 21st on my calendar :-)

Sandy... do you know what I love about your blog? I always learn something and I always enjoy a chuckle!! The "square dance" poster takes the cake! Have a wonderful 4th!!

Interesting about most skin cancer being on the left side of the face - I just had one burned off on the right side.

The zip code link was fun. You always post such interesting info.

Unknown said...

I agree with Rae; you DO always have such interesting posts. Hey- how about visiting this blog of mine; would love it if you would. I'm trying hard to get it going again.

The zip code was interesting...kind of fits the area I live in. If the laughing statement is true...visiting your blog is very essential to my well being. :)

Love the sip code thing. That was interesting as heck. I had no idea I lived in such a depressed area.

Have a fabulous day honey. Big hugs. :)

I love all the info you give. I'd love to have a nail polish that doesn't chip easily. I'll have to get some Cover Girl. I'm rarely on Facebook, but I will join for sure!

I'd love a laundry basket WITH A PUPPY IN IT! The laundry, not so much.

Nonnie said...

That is interesting about the left side of the face and cancer.
I only have one bottle of polish which I take with me to get a pedicure. Polishing my nails is a waste of time and effort because it never lasts.
Ice cream day - will put on my calendar!
All the tips are good, especially about Vitamin D - I am working to resolve that one.
My miniature Dachshunds absolutely loved the warm laundry.
Hope your daughter is doing better and that you and your grandson had a good day today.

The zip code thing is neat! And I like the nail polish break down. I have used the ones with heavy glitter, and when I wake up in the morning, the WHOLE painted nail is in the bed, it peels off like the back of a sticker

Terri D said...

I "liked" you on FB, Sandie, and look forward to seeing you there, too. Interesting about the nail polish. I rarely wear polish because it never lasts more than a day for me. Love your posts!!

Paula said...

Hi Sandie: Hope you're having a nice day.

Great post again my friend, really enjoyed it and YES it's great to laugh and often!!! Big hugs x

The zip code thing is pretty cool. I'm afraid that my zip code doesn't have very impressive statistics though
I don't do facebook much but I went over and liked your new page

The zip code site is neat. I always hear good things about Essie polish, I should break down and give it a whirl.

Had Fun comparing the zips of home in Fla. and home in Marietta!!

Great idea about the pennies in a water bag! Will try it!

I'll have to check out our zip code sometime.... Thanks for the link.

I'll have to have some ice cream on July 21.... ha

Interesting about Vit. D.... We do eat salmon and tuna quite a bit---but don't drink too much milk (at least I don't)....

Sorry about your doggie. Does he have anything fairly new that he chews on or sleeps on or with????? That may be the culprit..

Hugs,
Betsy
