Fun Friday with a little help from my friends...

THANKS SHARON -

If my body were a car, I would be trading it in for a newer model. I've
got bumps, dents, scratches; my headlights are out of focus.   My
gearbox is seizing up; it takes me  hours to reach maximum speed. I overheat for no           reason and every time  I sneeze, cough or laugh either my radiator leaks or my                     exhaust backfires!

Don't sweat the small stuff and truth is - it's all small stuff.

Okay Okay it's Friday, but it is still cute.

            Painting  the Church

There was a Scottish painter named Smokey MacGregor who was very
interested in making a penny where he could, so he often thinned
down his paint to make it go a wee bit further.
As it happened, he got away with this for some time, but eventually
the local church decided to do a big restoration job on the outside
of one of their biggest buildings.

Smokey put in a bid and, because his price was so low, he got the job.

So he set about erecting the scaffolding and  setting up the planks,
and buying the paint and yes, I am sorry to say, thinning it down with
            turpentine.........

Well, Smokey was up on the scaffolding, painting away, the job nearly
completed, when suddenly there was a horrendous clap of thunder,
the sky opened and the rain poured down washing the thinned paint
from all over the church and knocking Smokey clear off the scaffold to
land on the lawn among the gravestones, surrounded by telltale
puddles of the thinned and useless paint.

Smokey was no fool. He knew this was a judgment from the Almighty,
so he got down on his knees and cried:

"Oh God, Oh God, forgive me; what should I do?"

And from the thunder, a mighty voice spoke.

            (you're going to love this)

"Repaint! Repaint!  And thin no more!"

Happiness is indeed catching snowflakes on your tongue. I remember doing just that as a kid. I loved the dog and cat stealing cookies so much that I stole it from you and will post it on my blog later as Christmas gets closer. I too blame my theft on Santa.

OK - my highlite was Santa and his tree where the elves had decorated it!! I sooooo remember when my girls would decorate the tree and they each had a spot that they would hang the ornaments. I'd tell them to spread them out - so they would move an ornament one inch over. We had some funny looking trees for a couple of years :-}}}

Fund out what the camera problem was. Somehow at one of the stops the camera kit made, someone put a Kodak cable to hook to the charger so I drove out to a camera store and he discovered it. I got a replacement and the thing looks like it will work great. Forgot to get a picture chip for it. I worked in a camera store nearly 50 years ago and let me tell you, it was nothing like that one. Laughs are great at your place.

Oh Sweet Sandie!

I have to thank you from the bottom of my little heart for making my day with your sweet comment about getting younger as I get older, hahahahahahaha. THAT MADE MY DAY!!!!!!

You don't like snow? Well then can't imagine why? We Utahns dread it but we still live here and still have it and still stay here year after year. doh. LOL
