Chatty has a green thumb - finally!
I have loved green plants all my life. When we first got married - we bought a lot of green plants. We watched each one die - leaf by leaf would fall to the ground! It was so sad. We kept trying through the years - but we finally gave up.
I have had a couple of artificial plants inside - but they collected dust so easily I have a mini tree in the living room - it is dusty and it is not fire retardant. .
I received an email from Thermaleaf offering me to check out some flame retardant artificial plants. I was thrilled at the good news and placed my order right away.
I am going to show you what I picked out and ask your opinion where I should place them.
While I did receive complimentary products to provide this review, all opinions are my own.
I need to know where you would place the plant - 1, 2, or 3.
I will tell you first off - my grandson has an eye for great products - he only likes the 'good stuff'. As soon as he saw this gorgeous plant - he wanted to put it in the living room - which is now being used as his 'den'.
This piece of furniture was my mother's. And the foliage looks terrific on it (Andy has put his black belt degrees on the wall) - this room is a real mixture now - very eclectic I guess you would say.
However it really does cheer up the room - and I know it is fireproof. It brings 'life' into the room.
(Not a great photo, but you get the gist. Actually none of the photos are great!

Okay this is another wall in Andy's room. Before he changed the room to be his I had an Italian motif going on. Now I have his credenza mixed with the Italian Motif. It must be a bachelor pad in Italy.

Or number three - in front of the family photo on another table. Gosh this artificial and flame retardant plant would look good anywhere in the house.

That was not the only thing I received. I had always wanted outdoor topiaries. They are wonderful looking and they are great quality too.
Again I would like your help to which step to put them on. I am wondering - and it is my fault - if I bought too small of ones for the affect I was going for. Maybe I should buy bigger ones and put these somewhere else. I have a beautiful back deck that needs something too.

My steps look so old - we need to wash them with Clorox! A spring project.
I also need to take photography lessons.

WHY THERMALEAF® OVER OTHERS?
Comfort and warmth is brought to any place inside the home by the use of foliage.
Think about when you go out – artificial plants - they’re everywhere!
Now think about this - some fires have been caused because there of the lack of fire resistance in silk plants or artificial plants. Now with Thermaleaf there are no worries.
HOW IS THERMALEAF® MADE FIRE
RETARDANT?
During the injection molding process the fire retardant chemical is blended with the fabric and plastic or PVC parts while the materials are still in raw material form. Once injected, the fire protection is inherent in the foliage branches and leaves.
This is a sponsored post, all opinions are mine.

I vote for #3 as far as that cute little table top plant, Sandie, but I think the topiaries are too small to put anywhere on your front stoop. I'd put them somewhere else where they won't be so dwarfed. Those are darling too!! Happy Monday, my friend. Blessings~ Andrea xxx
They looks really nice. I pick #3 and B.
I have been buying artificial plants, so am interested in this. And so, apparently, is Disco! They look so real that he might try to pee under one! I do think you need something a good bit larger for the outside steps. But this is a great place to put them! I love Andy's room!!
I like 3 best, but i think Andy should choose where and the topiaries are really pretty but much to small for the stoop... they would be pretty on a table or in Andys room in space 1 and 2.
they are beautiful realistic plants!! I think I would put them on the widest part of the step but thats coming from someone who would like step on them,, I'm a clutz!!
Having black thumbs I found this interesting, my vote is 3 just so you know, really nice
B for the plants by the front door! ;-)
I like 2 (Andy and Disco's room) and B back at the wall.
I don't have an idea why, I just like them there.
They are pretty. (That is the only way I would have a green thumb, but I am still trying. hahaha!
Hi Sandie....I like the plant near the flat screen tv. So glad you got your green thumb going with these lovely plants! Susan
I go for 3 and B too!
And the best thing for those steps is a pressure washer. They wouldn't take long and they'd look brand new again!
I like them on either side of the door.
I have a green thumb, too. But thanks to the antibiotics it's clearing up.
Green plants around us gives energy for us. It is nice to see the plants in all places. When we see them all of a sudden it doesn't seem to be artificial plant:)
I have a "black thumb" so I have ordered their catalog. Thank you for this information. I think you have placed your plants well.
Yes the plant looks great in all photos! My fav pic is disco looking out the door. I also see Spring products here
You are doing good and making things look nice. Like everyone else I like larger plants on the front steps. That artificial tree is like a live one I had at one time before I killed it.
They all look terrific. Disco is probably wondering when he can go outside and test the outside ones! :)
My vote is for #3. I like the plant behind the nice family picture. And at the front door, I like A. Those are very nice plants and I don't have much luck with indoor plants and many times, outdoor plants either. I have struggled for years trying to get just the right ones. I finally got the roses outside to perfection and then the bad disease came. Wah! I will check out their website.
Oh yes, and Disco looks so cute at the door.
Those are really nice! I like #3 and B.
Disco looks so cute through the door. I love the plant next to the family picture best. That credenza, I must say, is awesome! I want topiaries when we buy a house again. I've never had them. :) Happy Valentine's Day to you!
Hi Sandie, I like your grandson's room with his decorations. Disco looks so happy at the entrance threshold in your house. I guess you do as much as you can to make things look better in your home. Well, I assume plants give positive energy into our lives. I have had plants all my life, and they would live a happy life so far. I rescued some small trees that were dumped into the garbage corner of the street. Luckily, they've still been upstairs in the terrace, and thrived in an unbelievable way. I have a special touch to give a positive energy to living things -in order to make them flourish. I love plants, trees, our green Earth -as much as I love animals. Thank you for posting wonderful things about your life, my dear friend!! I'm sorry I don't post much lately, because I am sick, and Doctor Paul has got a severe health issue with the enlargement of his prostate. He's scared & will go for more tests in these coming weeks. God bless you, Sandie, family, loved ones.
