We rescued Disco 10 years ago on or near the 4th of July.
Grandson made the 4th of July his birthday.
They said he was 2 which would make him 12, but we think he was 1.
Anyhow - Disco is not a fan of the 4th of July.

He didn't know how to eat it until grandson cut some up for him.
NO HE DID NOT EAT IT ALL - only a small piece.
But he liked it.

I have been on vacation this past week - sorry I could not answer your posts.

I am into moving emojis now and I love that Dancing Hippo. Now I'm wondering how you did that! Tell disco happy birthday from me and from big boy and I wish you many many more. Good boy for only eating part of your cake. We've had five dogs and we only knew the actual birthdate of one the rest we had to guess just like this go

Happy Birthday, sweet Disco. Fireworks are lovely to see in the air but it is so frightening for pets and many humans who suffer from PTSD. Unfortunately, weeks later, we are still hearing thrm.

Happy Birthday, Disco!!! Is that a 'doggie' cupcake, or the real thing? My girls turn 7 on the 28th, so you're giving me ideas!

Happy Birthday Disco! That's so funny he's eating his cupcake, and it sure looks good. I didn't know he was a rescue dog - that's wonderful to take him in, Sandie. So glad you got back safe and sound. Did you have a good time? Jess' husband's birthday is today too - him and Disco are celebrating today hehehe.

Hello my friend. I have had you and Linda (A La Carte) on my mind all day long. So here I am since you are still here! You must tell Linda I saw a Flamingo Cookie cutter and everywhere I looked today there were pink flamingos. A sign you think?
Oh my Disco, happy birthday! I know what a sweet edition to your life he was. He is such a cutie.
It is always fun to visit everyone, I am not a tech nerd but wish I was. At my blog My Tata's Cottage, I found 21 comments from May until today, there hanging out in cyberspace. So I am working on resolving that issue. Sigh!
Love seeing you here so I will be back soon, Take care and tell Linda hi for me if you speak with her. HUGS xo

p.s. This is a sad day for us. Mrs. Jim's sister died this morning at 7:30, after her bad stroke she came down with COVID-19. She lived in North Louisiana with her husband. We were on our way to visit her at her rehab center room when we got their daughter's call, had been driving 90 minutes of a six hour drive. We came back home until her funeral.

(( Happy Birthday, beautiful sweet boy, Disco! ))
You are so lucky and blessed to have found a wonderful forever home
with your mom, dad, and all your family there. They love you!!
I'm sure you indulged a piece of your birthday cake.
Have a blessed birthday, Disco, and for many more years to celebrate
with your precious and unique family!
I heard by our Vet that small dogs live longer than big dogs,
especially if they have lived a healthy life with no diseases.
Have a great vacation time with your family, my dear friend?
Did you go to the beach, or mountains, or lakes, or a camping site?
I bet you would choose 5 stars hotels -like the Sheraton's or Hilton's.
Best Regards.

I'm laughing because in your first sentence when you said you Rescued Disco a Decade ago I thought you meant the Music... until I realized it was your Fur Baby! *LMAO* Thank You, I needed some levity Today, Pandemic has made things so serious and somber otherwise! I think our Pets have kept us Sane during all of this since they haven't a Clue about the Plague and go on being how they always have been. Everything and everyone else has changed so much with the strain of this all, some in subtle ways and some in major ones. The Social impact is hardest, since Humans need Touch and expressions of Love extended, hard to do from a Social Distance and Masked, but we gotta do whatever it takes to stay vertical these days.
