ARE YOU GOING TO TRICK OR TREAT? HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I don't think we will have many kids trick or treating since we are in an apartment.  At the house we had a lot - almost 75 to 100.  However, we are prepared with candy just in case.  I just hope I don't eat most of it afterwards. LOL I will have to think of something to do with the leftovers.

My hubs doesn't want me to get rid of it.  He can eat it and not gain weight - I can't!

Our apartment did host a little Halloween party - they drove the cart around the apartment giving out Jello shots.  Can't say we drink - but it was nice to see some people who live here.

How many trick or treaters do you get?

What do you give out?

We give out chocolate bars!  That is why I have to get rid of some.

I love the fall and Halloween colors.

Maybe he came to scare us!

This will be the first year we do not trick or treat with our grand. She wants to go with her friends I hate that she is growing up! We do not get kids here we are tucked in the woods. I did buy some candy bars in case the two down the road come by but that is it.

We probably won't have any stop by but we are prepared. I smiled when you said: I just hope I don't eat most of it afterwards......... Same here. Sherry snacks on the candy. She can control her input, I cannnot, I will eat it until it is gone if I start. LOL
Good entry. We give out from the mixed Hershey candies bags. And they sure are expensive this year. LOL

Love from Florida We did enjoy the visit....

we don't do halloween, no kids here anyway, we did in 1985 the year we were married, then along came Max and he was not friendly so we stopped and never started. no candy allowed in our house. if he wants it he has to eat it out of the house. I do for his BD get him 6 of the reeses, and don't touch them

Every year we get less and less kids coming to the door. Our area is becoming older with few little guys.
We are giving out pretzels made like bats and spider webs. Bought them at Walmart, several in an individual bag..I used to get chocolate bars but ended up eating them myself so if they aren't here I don't ruin my A1c score.
I'm with you on the fall and Halloween colors..my favorite!

Oh, where I used to live, we got a few trick-or-treaters, but now in the mountains, we didn't get any last year. They do get some kids coming around in town, but I did get some candy just in case. And like you, I don't want to end up eating it. That was a fun idea for your apartment to have a little party and offer Jello shots. And you got to meet a few people who live there.

Happy Halloween, Sandie.

I love your haunted house animation! The kids going to your house will really get a treat! We get maybe a dozen, and are manning the door right now. When I was a kid, a house on our block gave out ICE-CREAM BARS!! True story!

In the four years we've lived here, tonight's the first I've seen of trick-or-treaters. I suppose because our front porch light isn't on, they kept on walking -- but I was gratified to see their parents walking alongside.

I bought a couple bags of Butterfingers just in case -- that's Tom's favorite and (tah-dah!) I don't care for them.

No beggars here in my community. One of the golf carts in Saturday's parade gave out jello shots. I didn't take one. Not fond of them and not much of a drinker. Nice that your community had a party! Hugs!!

That was a beautiful bird! How funny with the Jello shots! We did go trick or treating with grandson and DIL. We went to this "fancy" area of houses. So many people there! Lots of decorated houses. One house was giving away glow stick bracelets and big size bags of M and M's! We had candy here but since we were gone the whole time, we got no trick or treaters so we'll be freezing some for sure! We usually give out the mini chocolate Hershey bars.

We don’t have any trick-or-treaters but I make goodie bags for the Grands and Great-Grands. Enjoy your day dear friend and don’t eat too much of the yummy leftover candy. I am going to try and stay out of the candy bowl. Hugs

I decided not to hand out candy this year. Just wasn't feeling it. I did buy one box of large bars at Costco to give some to Amber and Dylan and some to Adam, Gabby and James. Hope you had a lot of kids. We used to get around 100 but most of the kids have grown up. We just left our house dark last night.

Nobody came a-knocking here. I wouldn't have been caught out if they did...I've always a pile of chocolate on hand...and some liquorice, too! :)

Happy Halloween, Sweetheart, Family & Beloved Ones!!
We don't celebrate it where I live... I'M SO GLAD YOU ARE BACK!!
My daughter and 3 grandchildren called me to say have a happy one.
When my girl was just a kid, I used to take her to do the treats
in our old neighborhood back in New York.
My daughter and my grandchildren have grown up, and they don't it.
Blessings,
Poet Starry.
