THE GARDEN ROOM

THE TOP 3 PLACES TO VISIT - IN ORDER - ATLANTA - WASHINGTON D.C. - ORLANDO

ATLANTA IS NUMBER ONE - SO COME ON OVER FOR A VISIT!

We have become the 6th largest city in the U.S.A.

TODAY I'M GOING TO TELL YOU ABOUT 'THE GARDEN ROOM' HERE IN GA

IT WAS OUR 'GRANDDAUGHTER IN LAW'S' DAY -

WE TOOK HER OUT TO CELEBRATE HER GRADUATION FROM COLLEGE  - WITH A TEACHING DEGREE - AND SHE JUST GOT A JOB!

CONGRATULATIONS TO HER!

MY DAUGHTER MADE RESERVATIONS TO TAKE HER TO A PLACE DOWNTOWN CALLED -

THE GARDEN ROOM. (HIGHLIGHT FOR MORE IMFORMATION)

We were under the impression before we got there that the room was filled with fresh flowers - lol - we all took allergy pills.  Got there and they were filled with flowers - but artificial ones.

The ceiling was covered with windows and the windows were covered with beautiful vines.

The decorations were high quality and beautiful colors.

The kids and hubs going into the Garden Room.  Flowers on both sides.

The Garden Room is part of a hotel - the St. Regis.

The bathroom was gorgeous!       They had four individual ones like this.

My sweet granddaughter.

The inside was gorgeous!  All the trees looked so real, but they were not!
We had the table behind this one.

This is the brunch menu!  We could not afford dinner there!!! lol

Water out of a bottle!

They had a cheese table.

Sugar cubes.

She was so happy and excited.  Can you believe that this is their French Toast?

My daughter got the waffle.  I got the French Toast, but to be honest - I wish I had gotten the Waffle.

More beautiful decorations and flowers.

Coffee.

Then we went outside and took a little walk and they had these top like spinning things.

                                                                                   Grandpa

The kids

I HOPE Y'ALL HAD A WONDERFUL MEMORIAL DAY - WHAT DID YOU DO?

Congrats to the Granddaughter-in-law on graduating and the job. I hope it's a good place that treats her with respect and that she enjoys being there.
That is neat restaurant. It's quirkiness and tasteful ambiance kinda reminds me of the Kapok Tree Inn & Restaurant in Clearwater, Florida. I think it's closed now but back in my salad days we would stop in whenever passing through, usually after a SCUBA diving trip somewhere. I had my first taste of duck at the Kapok. That was a interesting place. 💙

Wow, that place is absolutely gorgeous. So glad you were able to do that. Enjoyed all the beautiful photos.
We stayed home and made hamburgers yesterday.

What a wonderful day for your granddaughter! That's awesome that she got her teaching degree! The Garden Room looks so charming, and those bathrooms are fancy! Was your meal good? What a lovely table you sat at. I like the colorful pillows. The ceilings with the vines are so pretty. Were there any real flowers or trees at the Garden Room? The spinning seats look fun too. What a terrific day for all!

Congratulations to your Granddaughter graduating and getting her first teaching job.
She's lovely.
That restaurant is beautiful and pricey but how fun to splurge and celebrate.
We have friends that live in Norcross, Georgia. and visited them years ago.
Dave and I also worked 2 different trade shows in downtown Atlanta. Lovely city but a bit too humid for me. (:0)

Wow, that is a swanky place! It's in Atlanta so off limits for me. I can't take the traffic. LOL.

Sandie, what a delightful celebration! And I'm delighted to find the Chatty Crone once again. It's been a while. When I started my blog in 2010 I never dreamed I'd still be at it in 2024, buutttt ... I've had to slow it down! I was once a week like clockwork for the first 10 years, then went to every two weeks, then ... and now, once a month. We'll see how long I can do that! One of your favorites, and mine, Judy of Cranberry Morning stopped in 2020, and I really miss her. I was in Atlanta 20 years ago on business and met with some friends who were living in Alpharetta at the time. Went to Buckhead Diner with them. And I also managed to get to the Ritz-Carlton for afternoon tea. Didn't know about the St Regis!
